These locos have a face only a mother could love, but damn, you guys did them proud. They even SOUND heavy - love the metal handrails - quality other manufacturers should study!
Better be heavier than the RSC14 and RS18s. Those were so light as to almost be a joke pulling wise

I remember the 1st time one of these turned up on the local freight. Wasn't sure i liked them. Specifically how the cab face was flush with the numberboards, and that space between the center-front cab windows. Then i figured it was better than scrapping, and eventually came around. Now i'm quite tempted to get a road unit, just because.

Do you consist the two locomotives or is there a new magic decoder?
There is a magic trick for you to give them both the same address. LOL
Each has a separate decoder which is set to address 3 by default. These can be reprogrammed with a new cab number and consisted as desired.
If only the slug was sold separately
We'll be looking at offering the slugs separately in a future release!
Hoping this will be one of the "big announcements" coming in N scale!

These were developed just before we introduced MoPower, but future GP9 releases will have it installed.

I'd love to get one of the Road units for my 1986 layout set in Bensenville Illinois in HO scale, but please tell me these will come to the N scale market as well. That would be awesome! Beautiful units, I can't wait to see one run in person. Dave B.
