Same, then listened to the first album and went from there and forgot all about the Tony Martin era. Good to come back to it - these guys had something.
Same here... Awesome period... "Empire" by Queensrhyche, Painkiller by Judas Priest & Arise by Sepultura were among some of the finest releases of that period (90/91)
@MAJIN Well, Martin and Dio aren't so different, in my opinion. I actually think they are pretty similar. They both have their own style, but you could envision either man doing the songs of the other, don't you think?
I started listening to Sabbath because of this album and then I realized Ozzy existed, nothing beats the musicianship of this killer album!

Black Sabbath is the worlds best doom & heavy metal bands in Europe & the worlds.
Awesome, thanks for sharing! I still remember purchasing this cassette & CD whenever it was first released.

I love Dio, but it really doesn't get any better than this. I guess I love them both equally.
Saw this tour. Tony Martin had pipes. Great show, but poor attendance. Its a shame.
These guys are nuts...it's like they somehow didn't think this scorching epic kicked enough butt and decided to super nova in the couple minutes.
😎🎸❤
