as I recall, there was a cubs game that same night, and it got rained out.

I was at a cubs game in 2013 and heard the calls on the radio on the drive home. It was insane and the greatest part of that night
Weideman and Troy Murray are excellent hockey radio guys. Troy was on the Blackhawks for many years. He's the analyst half of the announcing team. Very good and a pleasure to listen to.
I like all of the info they pass along in the celebrations after goals. "Duncan Keith!! His first goal in 16 games! And his 1st in the Finals" - "It's Patrick Kane! With his first goal of the Final!" Love that kind of stuff, because he is capturing key moments in Blackhawk history. John & Troy are blatant homers, no doubt -- "Lord Stanley!!....Welcome you back to your new home! Chicago. Illinois. In the U.S. of A."

Where the hell does it say a team is only a dynasty if they won consecutive championships? The Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy in team sports to win, and Chicago has 3 in 6 years. Add to that free agency and a hard salary cap. This is a legit dynasty.
Technically 3 in 5 years but yeah 6 seasons. Smells like a dynasty to me. Wayne Gretzky said they are a dynasty.

Life long Hawks fan from Long Island, NY. So happy to be able to say I was alive to see them when three Stanley Cups so far in my life time. Part of me though wishes that Ed Belfour won the cup while still with the Blackhawks. Doesn't matter. Three cups so far makes for one happy fan!

When Kane scored that goal you could just feel it was over. Being in that building with the experience they had there was just no way.
And they had a different playoff MVP each time: Jonathan Toews in 2010, Patrick Kane in 2013, and Duncan Keith on 2015.
God, I'll miss Saad big time, but let's be honest, who isn't excited about Teuvo and Panarin. Those two being added to Chicago's already loaded wing lineup is a scary thought (Teuvo more than likely moving up the lines).

Safe to say they are a modern dynasty. 3 championships in half a decade. Too bad they didn't get 2014 as well. 4 out of 6 seasons with a 3-peat would be total dynasty with an exclamation point.

Chicago was selling 12,000-15,000 tickets in an arena that fits 22,000 from late 90's up until they got Kane and Toews.
The city barely knew they had a fucking hockey team until 2007ish.

Your right Mr.Hockey, the Black Hawks are just an average lucky team and they better be careful because the real dynasty teams, Edmonton or Buffalo are so very much better. In this cap era no body does it better than Chicago. If we were able to keep all the good player that we populate the league with, I don't think they would lose more than 15 games a year. Michael Voytek, Buffalo has won 0 Stanley Cups. Maybe you mean other premiere dynasty teams besides Edmonton were the 2 just before them: NY Islanders and Montreal.
