I'm offended by the fact you were earning $75K as a contractor with no or limited benefits, etc. as a Television Talent for a Billion-dollar Company. Wow. In my opinion, with the revenue from televised shows, anyone televised should be minimum 6-figures salary. If you're limited to House shows, sure, 5-figures works.
One thing I have to say is that if you are a grown adult you can always say no and walk away. Unless you are actually restrained , jumped and someone or multiple physically restrained you and threaten you then we can talk….but if you are a grown adult no one can make you do things and you do t have stay somewhere and tolerate someone harassing you or mistreating you
The level the likes of Vinny Mac take themselves seriously and how they mistreat people is a crock of shit. It kind of reminds me of the Devil Wears Prada, Meryl Streep's character. All she's doing is threads, not curing cancer, furthering human progress, saving the environment or solving world hunger. It's the same with wrestling, it's nothing but lowbrow entertainment, a bit of fun and a distraction from anything actually important. It'd be like if Johnny Knoxville was a massive egotistical dick during the making of Jackass
Do like Stevie. I would just say on the Vince thing, maybe don't just to the conclusion that someone only has an opinion because he got pushed because his opinion is different to yours. Stevie loves Eddie Gurerro, me too. He beat the living sht out of his wife. Things are not always clean.
I don’t hate Vince Russo I just think his style got old to me really fast And I was 10 12 years old at the time of his run in WWE so in a way I was the audience but at the same time I was like ok how much of this weird teen humor can I take and it wasn’t much then in wcw I was like the stuff is rushed granted he had little time to work with but I don’t think if he had time his style would’ve helped it was just hot shot this hot shot that Got old and boring.
Vince had a Machiavellian leadership style. Though I don’t condone the bullying sexist and other inappropriate actions those are not apart of that Leadership style at all. He ruled by fear to build respect. Wanting his subordinates to stand for him when he walks in-the room. That was taught to him in military school as a sign of discipline and respect to your leaders. Still practiced to this day as I know as senior leader in the military. Vince is a business man and this leadership style fits that model of business in the wrestling industry.
But wwe and Vince are a nice family orientated company this must be lies bet some people still struggle to believe this stuff about this drop kick company
If I hear one more person say that it's weird for a guy in his 50s to be in shape, I'm gonna give up on saving this generation from dying in their 60s.
I don't know why Stevie has to bring up how AEW is being run when he's never worked there and is only reacting to the BS propaganda campaign that the entertainment marks are pushing. People like crybaby Cornette makes money off hating on AEW so you can't exactly take everything he says seriously. There's a financial incentive in him shitting on everything.
To play the advocate, isn't this culture of fear necessary to prevent the inmates from running the asylum? This was only a few years after WCW closed shop.
Yeah, but the only real reason it sold was executives who didn't like wrestling and wanted it gone. WCW had problems, but nothing that couldn't have been dealt with. Corporate changes were the primary cause of the end of WCW.
@@Lusciouslysorry My point is that the inmates ran the asylum in WCW, but not in WWE, because Vince had this culture of fear to keep the wrestlers in line. It was a necessary evil, and I was wondering if Stevie agrees with this assessment.

"Not evil" in the sense that he probably doesn't like death and murder but he also isn't a good person with how he resorts to public humiliation and degradation on live TV and the unholy backstage stuff.... Speaking of the Vince McMahon documentary. Has Stevie Richards talked about it?
Stevie is one smart cat.
Gosh I miss Dennis Stamp.
I guess Patrice O'Neal was the only writer who DGAF.
The answer is YES!!
I think Coach got the me too treatment at ESPN… could be wrong, but pretty sure
Putting over the homie Solomonster 😁👍
This is why organizations like AEW are so important
Exactly WWE needs competition for it to stay on it's toes. And another point is, that the people have the choice of not being shills to just keep on blindly following WWE.
Alternatives are important, AEW unfortunately isn't it. A terribly run company.
We need something better than AEW. It's trash
@@Oz349 sorry it's not your thing. I enjoy it.... plus it's nice to see a wrestler once in a while that does something different
Toxicity is what happens when you have an egomaniac running the show, and when some of the talent don't mind selling their morals to feed the devil.
Mcfoly legends deal bro.
STEEEEEEEEVIE!
Well the game is over and Vince has lost. Wrestling is better for it
@@anonymousbo0318 Oh good for you! You couldn't spell the word clown but you found the picture!
@@anonymousbo0318that's what yall Attitude Era pimps look like
Is Vinnie Mac evil? Well...is water still wet?
75,000 a year ...mannn hell naw
Jessy ventura
Vince had a Machiavellian leadership style. Though I don’t condone the bullying sexist and other inappropriate actions those are not apart of that
Leadership style at all.
George Carlin: Respect should not be given, it should be earned.
@ yes and no but it’s also a two way street
But wwe and Vince are a nice family orientated company this must be lies bet some people still struggle to believe this stuff about this drop kick company
He's not a good man that's for sure.
Vince is a complicated and sinister person.
If I hear one more person say that it's weird for a guy in his 50s to be in shape, I'm gonna give up on saving this generation from dying in their 60s.
🖖
What a dumbarse way to run a Company. Name is said they are not being used that week or day then fire them.
I'm not saying Vince is evil, but I have heard he's first choice for next President of Disney Corp
With that STUPID ass mustache, and that dyed jet black hair....he looks like old Walt himself, and Disney was a pretty nasty man himself.
Take a drug lord, everyone's probably scared of them and hate them but their family most likely likes them for what they provide.
Yes and so is Donald Dump
@@balancer182 And look how many people admire or thank vince....that would be NONE.
and to me, there is no such thing as 'necessary evils'.
1:36 That's literally just every decent working kitchen in the United States. These pampered writers are so fucking soft, dude. I'm not defending Vinny Mac by any stretch, but this sounds like pure bitching when they should be pitching.
I dont think Vince is evil. I do think he's been irreparably damaged by years of childhood trauma and he passes that trauma on to others.
"Not evil" in the sense that he probably doesn't like death and murder but he also isn't a good person with how he resorts to public humiliation and degradation on live TV and the unholy backstage stuff.... Sure there's money involved there but the fact that these facts all surfaced into the public I'm thinking there's a degree of further power tripping there with him not holding his end of the bargain.
@@artdjesus6267 I definitely agree.
The trauma side you break the cycle. In the US, it comes down to this. "One can do whatever they like to whom ever they like as long as they have enough money to get away with it"
@@BlahBlah-v1y in the US specifically it's more about knowing and being on the right side of the right people, but yes usually that is tied directly to how much money you can offer them.
Vince gave me loads of childhood memories
Foley has been accused. I heard a lady SCREAMING at him once.

That documentary was weak as hell. We already knew everything in the doc plus a lot more. It wasnt worth the time it took to watch it.
