Zippers are fun, scary but fun. Love Marsia’s faces on the zipper. Good thing the pizza stayed down.
Yes, Marisa's face on the Zipper is classic... I didn't even know eyebrows could go up that far on someone's head!
So I teach middle school to let's say, a tough crowd. I spend a lot of time making jokes and getting these kids to smile or laugh. It's so refreshing to spend part of a Saturday morning listening to someone else make people laugh. Favorite: Oxford Dictionary.
So I (Marisa) am also a middle school teacher!! Or at least I was before our travels. And yeah, I've had quite a few tough crowds in my day, AND I am not the funny one (Tim totally is). The only way I could get those kids to laugh was to make a complete fool out of myself! If only I could come up with things like Ox-ford dictionary on the spot... Oh well. I feel your pain...
I live in Central Canada, so close, and never knew how butiful Alaska is. Thx for sharing.

Hi guys, not sure how this older video popped up on my feed. It did and I loved it. Incredible sites from the rides at the fair. That's exactly why I haven't ridden any rides in a long time. Marisa, you had some terrifying moments on those rides. But you both pulled out like champs. I don't know how I missed this video on your trip to Alaska, but I really enjoyed it. You two were too funny to watch on this episode. I rode the Zipper back in my high-school days at our local county fair in the late 70's. I rode it once with a friend of mine and HE screamed like a Lil school girl too. He was yelling for the guy to stop the ride and let him off. I told him to shut up or the guy wasn't going to ever stop the ride ! 🙄
Oh,,, btw, i don't want to alarm ya, but, the Zipper has been been around since 1968 !! 😯

Great video. Sure do miss Palmer. It’s a great town. Wish I’d known you were going to be there. I still have plenty of friend who would have been more than happy to have you guys stay with them.
We had such a blast in Palmer! We liked staying there as well because the hotel rates weren't $150 a night. It would have been great to have met your friend, it was a wonderful town!

It was just hilarious, you both had a great time in Palmer , and to be quite honest I never stopped smiling , did you not buy just a woolly hat from the ox farm , that place was so amazing , Well done guys , I’d have to be unconscious to go on just one of those fairground rides , 😂

Wow, this is great to know, as we will one day be headed to Sweden! I'm curious if they are also trying to domesticate them there, because I'd heard that Alaska was the only place, but I could be wrong! Certainly they are a very useful animal!
@@2UpAndOverloaded they do everything for the herd to survive in the wild and also have breeding at the zoo. But as far as I know, they don't have a program to domesticate them.

I'm glad we could bring a smile to your face! We're so bad about washing the motorcycle frequently, especially when it gets just like that every time we ride it. It's pretty "clean" now though 😉
@@2UpAndOverloaded haha! great...offroad adv bikes never really get clean even after a good wash...but i wash mine once in a while not because i love washing trail dust or mud but just to check for those loose screws or damage...the real nightmare is cleaning the luggage bags 😁... i clean mine atleast once am month to lub the zippers and apply water reppellant i have even realized using a little bit of saddle soap and grease is a game charger...anyway cleaning sucks
@@cyphatechie5459 We really should take better care of our luggage as far as cleaning goes, we're so bad at taking the time to do it, it's great that you do! So far our Mosko Moto bags have held up throughout all our neglect and terrible roads, so we are thankful that we have them. But what we really neglect is our chain... Oh man, we never clean that. It's just sad...
@@2UpAndOverloaded some gear oil on the chain does wonders better than all chain lubes...yeah i have a mosko dufell and it has survived a lot of abuse i am a kriega guy...but i like the rugged look of mosko...si i plan to get a set of 80 litre ruckless.....
