    My mom was cooking earlier in the morning and the 4 continuous beeps went off and I told her but she said it was the cooking . The window was open already and she turned on the AC as well. I opened the alarm because it said to for further instructions and the sound stopped. Later on we went to the park for a few hours and came back so

      I don’t know what to do I guess ? We have two alarms one in the hall near the rooms and the one that went off was near the kitchen so should we be worried ?!?

      Thanks for watching. If the smoke alarm is also CO detector and it continues to beep 4 times with a short pause then that means it is an emergency and carbon monoxide has been detected. In that case you'll want to ventilate the area and call a technician. If you are experiencing any symptoms of CO poisening then call 911. Alternatively if it beeps 4 times every minute then the battery is getting low.

      AMRE Supply okay but the alarm would go off again if it detected any Co? Since yesterday nothing had gone off.

    • @AmreSupply
      @AmreSupply  4 роки тому +1

      @@ThatsSoAngie yes the alarm would have gone off again. Its still best to try to be aware of any gas appliances, water heaters or furnaces or fireplaces that might be a source of CO in the future that might set off the alarm again.

      Thanks for watching. The 3 chirps is a malfunction warning. If it continues then its best to replace the unit.

      @@thelifeofgskumar2291 Test the unit, if it still works then you should be ok. If the alarm doesn't work when doing the test, then replace the unit.

    Question my brother left his compressor running out side and we turned it off but there were no fire or anything, but i do feel semi light headed then again it is 1 am, should i be worried?
    Our alarm upstairs went off only and it was in 5 to 7 minutes intervals of chirps im going yo attempt to change the batteries but idk it stopped going off

    • @AmreSupply
      @AmreSupply  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching. If the smoke detector beeps every 5 minutes, then its an indicator of a low battery. If you replaced the battery, tested the alarm and its back to normal, then you're all good to go.

    What about 500PPM? Beat that

    • @AmreSupply
      @AmreSupply  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching Avery. At 500 PPM of carbon monoxide will trigger the CO detector. Exposure for 1-2 hours will cause headaches and nausea, and continued exposure for 3 hours or more can be life threatening.

    They are useless if the person is a smoker and they smoke in their home and they've smoked their entire life!

    • @AmreSupply
      @AmreSupply  2 роки тому

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It would depends on the amount of smoke that is created but you are right that cigarette smoke can trigger the alarm.

    I am a whale 🐋

    • @AmreSupply
      @AmreSupply  Рік тому

      Thanks for watching. If you are a bowhead whale, then you will not need a smoke detector. The olfactory bulb in bowhead whales takes up 0.13 per cent of total brain weight. This makes them well equipped for detecting smoke.
