Brilliant as usual, shame Solis don't recognise they have a problem and revise their firmware to reboot the dongle automatically if communication is lost for 24 hrs.
Hi. Thanks! It's super curious as some people seem to have ongoing problems with this. However that's the first time my dongle has been off since it was installed. One of our family members has one in the loft. She couldn't even get in the loft. It's about 2 yrs old and never been touched. And perhaps 98% of our customers haven't either. I can only assume there is some suspect hardware or firmware out there causing some folks issues. However it's a guess.
@@SolisNotSolis Mine worked for 10 months without incident but after a recent firmware upgrade has failed twice. The upgrade has been beneficial for the Operation of the inverter and battery management but I'm suspicious that the dongle suddenly has problems.
Sorry, I don't at the moment. I'm out of the country at present and as the dongle is offline I cant find out remotely. Not sure if it helps but the firmware upgrade was to cure the HighVolt-BMS ( code 2015) problem.@@SolisNotSolis
Thank you for clarifying the procedure to follow. Do you have any ideas as far as the wiring diagram goes? During installation the dongle was twisted which caused some of the cable to become loose, leaving me with no clue wich wire goes to which of the four connectors

Curious. Certainly interested as I see a few with problems. Meanwhile we've hundreds without apparent issue on this front on both gen2 and 3 dongles.
