- We head to Elland road on Tuesday for my Leeds United v Sunderland Match Preview. We face a massive task trying to stop a Leeds team pushing for automatic promotion. Here my thoughts on team selection and I also discuss the possibility of Jermain Defoe taking the the current SAFC managers job.

If the rumours are right about our next manager appointment then I think our survival in the championship will be short-lived. Have they learned nothing? It's strange how we, as fans, can see what the problems are and yet they blindly push on with their plan that clearly isn't working. Losing key players through injury this season has exposed big holes in our squad. When the transfer window opens we are, potentially, going to lose the likes of Clarke, Ballard, Hume, Neil and Rigg. What will that leave us? Relegation, that's what!! Every owner that comes in are here for a limited time but we are here for life, It's a travesty! They need to ditch the plan or sell up, we deserve better than this. I'm going for a very hopeful 1-1. HWTL.

Could not have put it better myself David. These owners have no clue at all what's reality and continue to work and upset all of us in the process. It is so frustrating at the minute and wish we had a billionaire from Sunderland who could come in!

I'd take a point all day long, even though they lost against Coventry they're still a top side and they'll be looking to get back on track for automatic promotion especially being at home, personally I can't see us getting anything from these next 2 but we'll just have to see what happens, the main thing is making it hard for Leeds and giving them a game, don't just turn up and concede early and fall apart, just go there and play with some pride
Me too mate, We just have to try and be competitive but like I said in the vid be typical of us to go there and shock them.

They reckon when Farke got the Leeds job the board didn’t interview him he interviewed the board, he told them he’d take the job as long as he can bring in his own back room staff, have total say on transfers and that only he will pick the team without any outside involvement. If only we could get a manager with some balls like that.
This is true. He also never did a presentation or anything like the other (and most managerial candidates at any interview). He just told them his record of 2 championships from this league speaks for itself, let me get on with it. Not sure it’ll see us over the line this time though 😂. All the best to you lot…greedy, clueless boards will be the death of football sadly for the fans.

Hello , hope you are right with the score, (leeds fan 😂) . We have faltered a bit after the international break with injuries. Hope to get back on track with this match , don’t want to be in the play offs we never do any good in them . Why did Sunderland move on Tony Mowbray ? Bad decision in my eyes .
Hi Andy. Thick you for the comments mate. I hope yous get there I really do. We got rid of Mowbray as he spoke out against the model we are using. Big mistake.
I really can’t see Sunderland scoring a goal against Leeds but this is Sunderland seem to lift them self for good team but last two Leeds games Leeds were poor so hart over head 1 - 1 hopefully 🤞🏻

Wayne don’t forget Sunderland was Roy Keane’s first managers appointment. So would Defoe be that much of a gamble. His charisma alone would give the players a boost, you list a good few pluses in his favour. He would get a lot more out of the players than Beale could.

When you’re a new manager you want to bring your own backroom stuff people who you know but with these three clowns why would you want to have one of them lot in your staff? Why would you want to have Mike Dodd in your back room? Stuff is a complete joke. We are laughing stock everyone’s looking at us and laughing what good manager would want to come and work with these three clowns? I’m dreading next season and I’ve renewed my season ticket. I think I’ll be jumping off the bridge in the first game, but we have to see what happens in the summer it’s a big one.

Defoe is a non starter , he hasn't got any experience at all and he is just in it for himself . Hegging bottom not for me either. All the tslk about bringing a head coach in the intrim , is not going to happen.
