Mandi is a traditional dish originated from Yemen and later became popular in Arab countries. It is a delicious combination of meat, rice and spices. It can be prepared using meats such as chicken, lamb, camel, beef etc. In this Mandi recipe, for the authentic taste we use Sella Basmati Rice. Traditionally Mandi is prepared in an underground oven but in this recipe is a stove top one. #mandi
INGREDIENTS
Sella Basmati Rice / kabsa rise (സെല്ല ബസ്മതി റൈസ്) - 4 Cups 1 kg
Chicken (m) - 1kg
Ginger (i) - 1,1/2 Inch Piece
Garlic (1) bulb
Black Pepper -2 Tbsp

Red Chilli Powder - 3/4
