It's painfully ironic that a short film about a deaf girl lacks subtitles.

I was born legally deaf and I got my first pair of hearing aids when I was 3. I understand loneliness and isolation. Things got a little better but I was teased not only at school but at home also by my mom,she couldn’t handle having a deaf child. I bounced between my mom’s house and my grandparents house. Up until that point, they were despondent, felt that God had somehow forsaken them, etc. The servants only made things worse. Then this sudden burst of art shocked and delighted them. You could see the wonder and joy in their eyes. Not only the artwork, but the fact that she answered her older sister's direct question. Suddenly she didn't seem such a cripple after all, but a human being with some fresh self-confidence and hitherto undiscovered talent.

apples have always been common in pretty much everywhere in the world, especially in europe, since they can survive in almost any climate. many fairytales are set in medieval europe. apples would have been pretty common and well liked. they were pretty much everywhere and everybody ate them were they rich or poor. bananas were introduced to europeans in early 1800s and would remain a rare novelty fruit that only rich would afford for few decades. bananas weren’t really that common or well liked in europe till 1900s. that’s also why stuff like wolves, sheep, doves or frogs are more common in fairytales than elephants, giraffes and lions.

l thought it was already plainly obvious before watching this video that humanity has long been lacking in the finer qualities of kindness, love, empathy and compassionn these are the true hallmarks of a great civilization, not wealth, glammar, dogma and control. To those who read this and can relate, l truly wish you well in this life and future lives.

Super consistent that she couldn't hear the girl screaming but could hear them when they were speaking softly...
Also, why did she go back home?? I guess it's lucky that her family decided to be loving and supportive at the end.

The twist is she actually sacrificed a random peasants baby and conjured up a magic portal in the form of a tree as per sacred Druid law.

I thought to write the same message. Yes Omeleto, we love your vids but come on, can you please enable the subtitles ? It(s just one single option to check and you don't even have to worried about. It's automatic and will run for any vids in the future. Think at us, foreigners, thx a lot

My wife, who is deaf, would have loved the movie but for the lack of subtitles. Ironic for a movie about the misunderstanding of deafness.

Not having subtitles for a movie about a girl who's mute was pretty embarrassing on the part of Omeleto. Weirder is the lack of SJW's commenting in droves. You're in luck Omeleto!!! They're way too busy with POTUS to actually make a difference where it counts.

mood: me time: now jokes: still got 'em.
This is EXACTLY the kind of stuff that got me interested in how to sign language interpret for live music shows - I just love rap and hip-hop so much and they're actually one of the most progressive genres of artists that want interpreters at their shows (punk rock next please) because they know at all levels of performance there are likely to be a lot of audience members with limited or no hearing - being in the military, or around loud machinery or just a lifetime of listening to loud music can really effect our hearing.
