Frank your shows are well done and very enjoyable but, maybe you could do a whole series on side dishes, different fish dishes in different prefectures, seasonal vegetables, etc. Just saying. I will still watch you though and continue to do "likes". Mahalo for all your effort. Curtis
Thanks, Curtis! I would love to expand in that way but still have my hands full with all the ramen eating 😊 In the meantime, I'll try and feature other foods alongside ramen when I have the chance!
In addition to the great ramen review as always, I liked the little Yoshi sound effect when you mentioned about getting an egg! Liked the additional editing too. Y410 is reasonable for an entrance fee! The hayazushi looks interesting too! Really makes me want to visit Wakayama!
Please add Wakayama to the list 😊. Glad you enjoyed the little Yoshi sound, haha. The editing has definitely been ramped up (I have someone to thank for that).
I've been to Ide Shoten. And to this day, still the best noodles I've ever had. The texture and the chewiness were so memorable. It was my last day staying in Wakayama, and I wish I had gone earlier during my four day stay. I definitely would have returned for another round.
@@5AMRamen I returned home just before Christmas and already ache to go back! Me and Japan, we vibe! :D And there's still hundreds of bowls of ramen to try! I absolutely get that you wanted to make an entire career out of it!
Thanks for giving Wakayama some attention, Frank! When you visit a place you don't like or would, if you had to, give a negative review, do you just not post it?
Thanks for coming along for the series! I thankfully haven't had too many negative experiences (ramen itself or otherwise). But when I have had one, I indeed just don't post anything 😊
Thanks for the warning of the Porky ramen! I love Ramen but the porky slightly gamey style is not my favorite. It always reminds me of a petting zoo. Nice little graphic of that Pigs head in the video.. hahah…5 bowls of Ramen in a day? You do have Ramen broth running through your veins for sure. Looking forward to the next vid. 👍
Frank, awesome video as always and thanks for sharing all of the great ramen spots around Japan. Just curious, have you ever considered any IRL streaming on Twitch? I guess you could do it here as well.
right now my favotite ramen is hakata..when i am out of that ramen shop in akihabra i was all smile and wanting more.... better then sapporo, ichiran.....i'm going to have to do research to see if they have this in the tokyo area so I don't have to go all the way south tot the actual location...

Glad to hear Ide Shoten made such a great impression. I understand what you mean about the noodles. Hope you're able to make it back some day 😉
I've been in Tokyo for a couple of weeks now, enjoyed some amazing bowls! There's still SO many more to try!!
It's endless, isn't it? 😊
I'm sure you've had a wonderful overall trip.

Man, it's almost 4am here in France and you made me hungry . Nice work.
We have the tasty ramen to thank 😊
I lived in Kansai for 2.5 years and when I think of Kansai noodles my mind immediately thinks of delicious udon with an amazing seafood dashi. yum
Udon as you derived described indeed hits the spot too!

Haha, fair enough (petting zoo). I like that analogy. Thanks for watching and yes, haha, that was a big ramen day.
I once took a side trip from Tokyo to Wakayama just for Ramen. 🍜
You are ramen trooper!

Thanks for watching and coming along for this series! I haven't really considered that but never say never 😊

Noriya Shokudo and Maruoka are two in Tokyo doing Wakayama bowls that are worth visiting!
Yaaaay Kansai style!
