Quartet San Francisco plays Spain by Chick Corea in Freeport NY 2/9/2013 Jeremy Cohen and Matt Szemela, Violins Chad Kaltinger, Viola Kelley Maulbetsch, Cello
This is by far the best Spain cover by a classical group. You managed to play a somewhat jazz contemporary while maintaining the sense of chamber music's integration. This is so in the same line as Gidon Kremer's chamber performances of Piazzolla's works. Please post some more and thank you for the beautiful music!
Hello! Amazing performance and very good arrangement! Is this available for buying? Or maybe sharing the arrangement with a nice quartet from Transylvania?
/watch?v=vC5w91GsM9o This one is by my school's Armonia String Quartet It probably isn't as good as this one but it is pretty good! You can't really hear the cello solo though... =/
+ruth starling Hi Ruth, the credits are there, just click on the "show more" tab below the screen and you will see the names of the players. Yes, I agree credits for all!!! I really don't like it when musicians don't credit the players.
A brilliant version of a very brilliant song!! RIP Chick.
I love this version.
RIP corea.
Thanks, we are grateful for his legacy and will miss him.
4:17, look at the second violin's face. That's me when I'm looking at my food.
In the microwave
They actually came to my school today to play, and they played this song, it was so good I had to come back and look it up
The sound in this Hall is beautiful. Love the huge tone on the viola! So pretty.
Una belleza absoluta... larga vida a Chick y a ustedes ❤
Esta canción es absolutamente maravillosa.
