I live in Crescent Place, love being walking distance from downtown and the WO&D trail is right there. Other perks is no grass cutting or much snow shoveling, just the little bit the plow pushes up on the short apron in front of garage, putting out the trash is wheeling the bin about 5 feet. In addition to restaurants, bars, shops close by, I also use two good car repairs shops that are walking distance, drop the car off and walk home. I don't think the downtown area is noisy, so I could live right smack in the middle too, and being just across the street from the firehouse you just get used to some noises. I used to live in Clifton and more in the Dulles flight path, the Concorde when it was operating used to shake the house lol and jumbos making a lot of noise, that never bothered me either.
A little clarification for visitors. Beacon Hill, Raspberry Falls, and Lansdowne are NOT within the corporate limits of the Town of Leesburg and are considered within Loudoun County NOT the Town. Also River Creek is actually split with the majority of the homes there considered in Loudoun County, NOT in the Town of Leesburg.
that's an interesting question. The Karst terrain is just north of the Rt 15 corridor near Leesburg. You can find more info on sink holes here: www.loudoun.gov/DocumentCenter/View/4770/Karst-Map?bidId= That's a surprisingly specific question--what makes you ask?
This was kind of painful to watch. You didn't really give much info and repeated basically the same things for each community. Also, how could Tavistock and Exeter be on the townhouse list, but not Edwards Landing or the Rivercreek area?
