  • The International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota, founded by wildlife scientist Dave Meach, offers visitors an immersive experience into the lives of gray wolves and the researchers who study them. Each year, more than 40,000 people from around the world come to the Wolf Center to gain a better understanding of this often misunderstood carnivore. Through video, interactive exhibits, and a live wolf ambassador pack, visitors can learn about wolf pup development, their amazing dispersal abilities, and the history of wolf research in the area. The Center also offers educational programs and activities for school groups, families, and individuals, providing a unique opportunity to learn about wolves and wildlife conservation. With the legacy of Dave Meach, the International Wolf Center continues to spread its mission and educate people around the world about wolves.
