For the folks asking about why -mana, I think it's due to Tincture scaling off of maximum mana and the support would provide more than enough mana regeneration for the main character to maintain manaburn forever.
@@matejbosela9093 What is their max mana? Also, I don't understand the difference between anything over 100 stacks and 2000 stacks and why there's a limit? Because after 100 stacks, the mana burn would be burning more than your max mana and if your mana regen is more than your max mana, why do more stacks matter? I assume the recovery and burn occur simultaneously so mana never hits 0 bc that would turn off the tincture..?
@@discrep firstly, once it stops, tincture goes on CD. thus the need for low mana + regen (further detail below). secondly, there is a unique tincture that gives 1% ele pen per mana burn stack. People were running with 2000% ele pen, basically having a free doryanis prototype. As for how it works, the mana burn deduction happens on the same server tick (iirc, 0.23s, may be wrong on the number) as the regen tick. People who run it have like 10 max mana, which is still enough for the % reserving mana and they run clarity with arrogance + % increased mana regen on the tree and gear. Rings and amulet can provide like -500 flat mana EDIT: The tincture is called Sap of the Ancients and it has been mid league nerfed to max of 200 mana burn stacks. Still, 200% base elemental pen (can be increased with tincture effect, especially strong on warden) and 100% ele damage with attack skills is really strong.
Well. negative mana equals a lower base pool. This same idea is demonstrated in the 1hp builds. (super high delve) Where the base determines the amount of regen or degen in case of tinktures. Hence why having the lowest possible base equals a degen amount equal to that base. Wich would in the case of 1 or 0 result in 0.
It was quickly patched after a few days at the start of the league. You could theoreticly have infinite tincture uptime and effect wich resulted in a billion dps.
When you use a Tincture you get %mana burn as drawback. Less mana equals less mana burned. For example 10% mana burn per sec is 10 mana if you have 100 total mana or 50 mana burned if you have 500 total mana. So when you get less mana you get flat mana regen so your tincture can stay active for a longer time and you get the accumulated buffs from your mana burn stacks easier.
I honestly think these crafting videos are my favorite out of the whole league, the other stuff is great too but the crafting isn't an aspect of the game i really get to interact with and especially not at such a high level where you can make these exact items you want lol
HHAHAHA WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK????!? that beginning with 6 misses on the 1/3 to then slam on the mana, and still annul the wrong mod :D the funniest shit i've seen in a while!
Wish locks would go down in price the last thing I really want to finish my build of the league is to mist a ring that I can't buy already made. It is around 200 div to craft the price so doesn't make much sense to make a bunch of rings either sadly.
Right? They're way too stupid rare. People like Empy or Belton who always have infinite money aren't affected by I'm lucky if I can afford to use two locks in a league.
At this point in the league just raw dog it dude, I had to try 5 times to get my Simplex amulet reflected correctly and every try was around 200 divs as well (since I was selling half of the bricked ones for 100d ea)
Fun project idea for you guys maybe: How strong can you make a lvl1 character with aura buffs? Have them use white weapon default attack etc and kill uber bosses? lol

Why minimum frenzy charges? Not sure what build this is for but why would you ever go minimum frenzy charges over something like +4 skill gems if you’re gonna spend 50 locks anyways
Can someone please explain why he wants negative mana? On the one mist he could have gotten everything positive. But he continued until everything was positive except for the mana so that its in the negative? Like yeah default attack doesnt require mana, i get that part.
Is lock even worth it for a mist simplex craft? Last I checked a lock was significantly more than the cost of failing the craft, since failing the mist means you get 2x bricked mirrored simplexes, which are worth 40% the cost of your initial split simplex each since they can be 5-to-1'd for an unsplit simplex.
So you use a 15 div mist and delete a 400 div base to get back 160 div of bricked bases. This means you lose 255 div. (+ of course you have to remake the amulet every time, hundreds of essences and time) Using a lock was 150 div.
@@Empyriangaming You use a 15 div mist and delete a 400 div base, but you get back 320 div of bricked bases (160 div per brick, since that is 1/5 of the cost of an un-split simplex). In hindsight my comment was a bit silly though, given you didn't realize you got both split copies out of the mist. I'll also concede that you had a large enough stack of divines that skipping the tedium of re-crafting was worth it's weight in mirrors. Edit: I also didn't realize the simplexes had gone up so much. When I made my original comment I thought they were still around 80div for an ilvl85, which definitely skewed my understanding of the cost here

Hardly, he isn't the first person to do this. It is mid to late league now, so prices naturally rise, and thos will continue to happen until it hits parity with standard the last week of the league.
I don't understand the argument. If it is very expensive, then nothing is broken. Why? Because even without the lock this is possible it is just "more expensive", you see? This is so arbitrary, that is your conclusion/thumbnail. Arbitrary because how expensive it should be is open to debate. But the reality is, if locks didn't exist, or they didn't allow it to work with mist, that doesn't change the fact that these incredibly powerful amulets are still possible... They just become more expensive, that is all.

Very sick but it's making me question how I feel about locks. Like I think the decision to remove eternal orbs was a good thing because you could brute force a perfect item with no risk of losing the item. With locks becoming so accessible to the general player base, we're back to being able to brute force perfect items again. Maybe that's a good thing though, I'm conflicted lol
Accessible? That thing is insanely expensive. They had 100 (I think) mirrors and spent like 11 on a single craft only in locks the last time I watched. I can barely farm 3 mirrors every league and I'm definitely not a casual (although not nearly as sweaty as the 0.001% like the streamers)
