This Beach Cover Up / Wrap Dress is the perfect piece this time of year!!
It's equal parts SEXY and USEFUL.
I guarantee it will become your favorite piece to take to the pool or on any vacation :)
I don't know who first designed this, but I remember seeing it on Behati Prinsloo in the Victoria Secret catalogue... back when that was a thing lol
I was so in love with the innovative design and I still am.
There are no seams in this dress, it's all made from one piece of fabric!
A lot of brands have made this dress, but in my opinion, they all have one major flaw!!
I fixed that flaw and it feels so secure and flattering now!!
*I chose to do it in a liquid metallic fabric so that it could transition into the night but you can use any stretch fabric you want!
*I recommend buying fabric that cuts clean so you don't have to hem everything.
*I'm showing you how to customize it to your size so no matter your shape, it's perfect!!
    MATERIALS
    2-3 Yards of fabric
2 yards of trim to make your straps
    Sewing Machine
    Fabric Scissors

Yours looks so much better than the one I purchased years ago! And that fabric is gorgeous! That's it. ... I'm making it and is going to be a date night dress with my hubby🤣. Our 25 year anniversary is coming up next month and I want to look stunning each night until the blessed day💞. I'm gong to be busy putting all your DIY's to my use🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for another awesome idea and great video!

I made one if these years ago out of dance satin. Mine is a little tighter as I wear it around the house in summer.
I used excess fabric and made 2 3 strand braids for the straps. But I have a high back and don't have to worry about it falling open or off. ☺
      CONGRATS on 25 years!! 🎉

Ok, I’m so excited that I have found your sight! I used to sew a lot of my own clothes in high school(I was unique and I loved that no one else could copy my clothes)! That said I am between sizes and this is exactly what I needed! Thank you for sharing your talent! Great tutorial. I made a couple of these wraps last summer, after a girlfriend bought one and showed it to me. I made mine from mesh materials, for wearing on the beach and in a spa, but you deffinately took it to another level with the extra straps and de fab fabric. I have worn mine all summer long because it is so comfy and also because it (drapes) does something spectaculair for any bodyshape.
