- The most extensive tropical glacier in the world is located in the Cusco region, this white giant is an impressive destination that is at more than 5,000 meters of altitude, to reach this destination of ice and mountains in the Andes of Cusco, we started with the trip for two days, leaving from the city of Cusco on the way. 🌄😼
During this first day of the trip, we will be able to know one of the most extensive lagoons in this Andean region, Sibinacocha, which is surrounded by the highest altitude white mountains in southern Peru, after passing through the last town at more than 4800 meters’ altitude, we will go to an open field to camp. 🌄😼
Making an effort on this day we will approach the north side of the Quelccaya mountain, considered the largest in the tropical area of the world, this glacier of Cusco is in constant reduction in its mass of ice, which has already predicted its disappearance, At the moment it is possible to see some lagoons formed because of the thaw, to one of these lagoons of Quelccaya, we will walk on this first day. 🌄😼

La carretera está apta hasta donde llegó nuestro transporte a partir de ese lugar es a pie, no creo que la moto te permita ir por donde caminamos, saludos y gracias por comentar

el carro desde Cusco nos llevó hasta pasar el poblado de Phinaya, desde donde caminamos 7 horas y media por la vía que te muestro en el video, además puedes descargar los mapas en la descripción del video
