In Amithaba Buddha Sutra even at the brink of falling into Acivi hell an utterance of Buddha name will deliver the person to Pureland. When we compared original bible and Sutra on the ability of Jesus vs Buddha it is obvious who has greater ability and compassion. When we compared Buddha Pureland in Buddha Sutra vs heaven and paradise as described in bibles we also can see which is more superior. No need to argue just compare the sources it's crystal clear.

Buddha like a great teacher will be most happy if disciple exceeded him. Buddha and Boddhisatva will not give up on the lowest hell being in Acivi Hell. Like Japan, Taiwan is an island nation, and she used to an unreached land. However, 6% of Taiwanese people are Christians while only less than 1% of Japanese people accept Gospels. What is the difference between the two? I guess Christianity does not fit in polytheistic culture of Japan.
As a non Christian I have no problem with Christianity, and if people choose to become Christians great for them. But I just don’t like it when it becomes about disparaging other religions or people who aren’t Christian, and same goes for any people and their religion really. I don’t think that’s necessary or polite, but again no problem with Christianity and I think freedom of religion is wonderful
As a Christian, I couldn't agree with you more. But this also happens within Christianity. As a Catholic, I found myself among Protestant preachers a very long time ago, and it intrigued me when they spent more time talking down Catholicism, than showcasing the good points of Protestantism.

This frightens me greatly. While I wholeheartedly accept anyone having faith in the man called Jesus who preached to love one another and do good deeds, it seems very dangerous that these Christian evangelists are spreading their doctrines and laws into an ancient and sacred place such as this. These Abrahamic religions were created to control and impose their own will on the rest of the world. These are man-made gods used to incite fear, cause violence, and destroy the peace and balance within ourselves. I have seen how these types of religions have brainwashed so many people, and it causes nothing but pain and suffering and leads so many away from enlightenment. This is not the kind of world that the Buddha taught us to strive towards.
It also is very harmful that these Christians claim their belief is the only and absolute truth in all of existence and "pity" the Chinese because they are "lost". That is nothing but pride and spitefulness to say such things. These people don't even believe in a Christian concept of a Heaven, and they do good deeds because they wish to be the best they can be in this life because no one knows what will happen to our consciousness after death. The Christians claim they do, but they are just as lost as the rest of us when it comes to the question of death. Do not fear death, focus on yourself and that you are here right now and strive to be the best person and live the best life you possibly can. I hope that one day, all will be awakened just as the Buddha was. That will be the day the world sees peace.

Something is missing from yours, in Jesus you find Love. Without love it is all nothing. We need love. We need Jesus. God can hear us pray. Statues cannot. We do not need to chant. How is that relevant age has no bearing what so ever on truth. For Instance science was for centuries of the opinion that the universe always existed this is called the steady state universe but then a catholic priest and Physicist in 1929 named Lemartre discovered big bang. Science wanted to reject this idea because it was biblical however as evidence surfaced such as red shift and the expanding universe it became impossible for science to continue to use that excuse. So the truth turned out to be that the universe had a clear beginning and if we go in the opposite direction we have the Greek philosopher Pathagoras who accurately measured the circumference of the earth and was the first to declare the earth was round. So what do we learn from both examples? Age is irrelevant truth is found in corroboration and direct or indirect evidence not age.

When we compared original bible and Sutra on the ability of Jesus vs Buddha it is obvious who has greater ability and compassion. When we compared Buddha Pureland in Buddha Sutra vs heaven and paradise as described in bibles we also can see which is more superior. No need to argue just compare the sources it's crystal clear.

Hope Taiwanese truly know what is Buddhism and what the Buddha taught before deciding. Many so-called Buddhists jumped into Christianity without even knowing their own original religion. One will be able to better decide with good knowledge of both.

Like Japan, Taiwan is an island nation, and she used to an unreached land. However, 6% of Taiwanese people are Christians while only less than 1% of Japanese people accept Gospels. What is the difference between the two? I guess Christianity does not fit in polytheistic culture of Japan.

As a non Christian I have no problem with Christianity, and if people choose to become Christians great for them. But I just don’t like it when it becomes about disparaging other religions or people who aren’t Christian, and same goes for any people and their religion really. While I wholeheartedly accept anyone having faith in the man called Jesus who preached to love one another and do good deeds, it seems very dangerous that these Christian evangelists are spreading their doctrines and laws into an ancient and sacred place such as this. These Abrahamic religions were created to control and impose their own will on the rest of the world. These are man-made gods used to incite fear, cause violence, and destroy the peace and balance within ourselves. I have seen how these types of religions have brainwashed so many people, and it causes nothing but pain and suffering and leads so many away from enlightenment. This is not the kind of world that the Buddha taught us to strive towards.
It also is very harmful that these Christians claim their belief is the only and absolute truth in all of existence and "pity" the Chinese because they are "lost". That is nothing but pride and spitefulness to say such things. These people don't even believe in a Christian concept of a Heaven, and they do good deeds because they wish to be the best they can be in this life because no one knows what will happen to our consciousness after death. The Christians claim they do, but they are just as lost as the rest of us when it comes to the question of death. Do not fear death, focus on yourself and that you are here right now and strive to be the best person and live the best life you possibly can. I hope that one day, all will be awakened just as the Buddha was. That will be the day the world sees peace.
