  • Simplifying an urban landscape painting into a 30 minute painting was the challenge I set for myself in this watercolor painting lesson. Beginners or intermediate watercolor artists looking to simplify and speed up their painting process will learn how I simplify an urban scene, this view of Paris from the Arc D'Triomphe featuring a gorgeous shot of the Eiffel Tower. You can paint along with me and develop your own intuitive, open-ended painting practice!

I have been following Angela for several years, and she has given me so much. I absolutely love the way she encourages us all to become our own favorite artist. I am taking her 4 day workshop in Sidney in August and am so excited because I know her instruction includes technique AND inspiration. Thank you Angela for all you are doing for the watercolor community. Penny Ketola

Love the way the turquoise and golden splashes at the end restore simplicity after the addition of smaller details! Giving the eye some larger movements to make through the image.

I am on your email list and want you to know that I, and probably many others, appreciate these videos. I am fairly new to watercolour and learning everyday. I still work full time so I don’t have the time to commit to paid courses or excursions, but will be retiring in a few years, when I plan to dive more deep in my art practice. I have even thought about doing one of your in person travel workshops, at that time. I hope you are able to keep these up...I know they must be a lot of work! I love your loose style and all your amazing advice!
