Awesome tutorial man! Im having trouble making my kicks really pop, they are sort of muddled behind the leads and reese bass. Are there any drum sound packs you would suggest for hardwave?
Making the kicks pop has to do with sidechain, basically you want to temporarily lower the volume of the bass and lead/vocal reverb whenever the kick hits, this will give the illusion that the kick sounds louder and it will make it cut through the mix more. For drum packs I recommend the Cyberwave pack and looking for personal kits from artists you like; for example I really like TENEKI’s music so I purchased his packs for some more Neotrance/techno drums
The download is working and has worked for others, if it doesn’t work right away try refreshing the page. I’ll double check to make sure the link is working tomorrow morning, but other people have confirmed it has been working, so it might just be a technical bug with the browser
Sometimes the download doesn’t work first try for some people, try again and usually it will work, if not I wouldn’t mind sending you the download over discord
