That airplane is incredible. It handles better than anything I have ever seen. I have 35 hours in the DA40 with the G1000 platform and look forward to getting to fly the DA50 and visit the Diamond headquarters in Austria sometime. This was a great video and Diamond builds truly some of the best aircraft in the world.
I want to jump in again😍 Such an amazing aircraft, especially the slow flight characteristics are outstanding! Great job from die engineers, that brings up the Diamond safety level even more🤘🏼💎😍 #first
😎First congratulation for that great Diamond Aircraft DA 62👌 🤔Sorry i have just one thing i would change the cabine size 12 to 16 inch bigger to get more space between the pilot and co-pilot that would also get more comfort for the passenger at backside plus more laguage space too👍 Keep going on with your great work to update some parts to bring that Diamond Aircraft forward and much more brigther to the top level!👌😎
She is one beautiful plane. Had pleasure to do my A1&A2 internship with DA40's and DA42's, nice planes, some design odities as mechanic perspective, but otherwise nice.
Wow. Very nice. Now that you have the winglets out there, how about an option for a camera mount in the winglet looking back toward the cabin? With a power connection so we never miss a video of a flight?
Im going to assume the elevator backpressure on rotation with the T tail is significatly less than other T tails with conventional flight control cables
Fantastic airplane! This one is practically single engine DA-62 from my point of view. And yes, physics in this simulator are not realistic, stall physics especially. xD J/K
I lads it's philip nice to see you once again hope you are both well what a brilliant flight with outstanding scenery. the weather was beautiful. Philip would like to wish you both a happy new year. And good luck for the future phil. Did you have a awesome festive season phil. 🍻👍🇬🇧
Sweet! How is it in a departure stall? Full or nearly full power stall? And how is rudder authority? I havent flown anything except the old rotax powered DV and DA-20s, and the tail dragger HK Super Dimonas. But I have about 175 to 200 hours in them. I loved flying them. So easy to fly and fun to spin the DV and DAs. Well done.
I patiently wait for this nonsensical fad ( BPS ) to pass on ! Imagine that !! One hundred years of flight history , and suddenly now we all better have 'chutes at the ready ?!
Besides the number of engines, is this essentially the same aircraft as the DA62? Are those amazing stall characteristics inherent, or is that the envelope protection doing its thing?
Stunning. Those stall characteristics are incredible. I hate to say it as an American. But this is a serious Cirrus killer. Great job guys
A lot of people with Cirruses aren’t able to fit the DA50 in the same hanger, sadly. Still an incredible machine
That plane has the best stall characteristics. Ever.
Have you ever flown a velocity?
Any test video that you can share?
What a beautiful aircraft. It’s on my bucket list for sure!
What else is in your bucket list?

Yea I have to ask about requirements fly this?
Yes. it looks amazing from the outside.. and inside too.. fantastic aircraft!
What a beautiful aircraft, a Diamond Aircraft masterpiece I call it.
I want to jump in again😍 Such an amazing aircraft, especially the slow flight characteristics are outstanding! Great job from die engineers, that brings up the Diamond safety level even more🤘🏼💎😍 #first
🤘🏼💎
Doing my PPL on a DA-20. Seems like great stall characteristics are part of Diamond's traits😍
That is one gorgeous aircraft well done Diamond you never disappoint 👍
Great flight, Danke shon! Greetings from NSW Australia.
Incredible! And Micke made an exiting experience of the Diemond Aircraft for us!
What an airplane! What a video!! Congrats
Can't wait to see this aircraft in person! Great design!!

What a magnificent Aircraft!
Amazing experience. Excellent visuals. What a beautiful world 🙏
Side stick or yoke option would be awesome, especially for flight school aircraft.
Such an amazing aircraft! I need one.
Beautiful bird! Thanks for shearing. Greetings from NE patagonia, Argentina.
She is one beautiful plane. Had pleasure to do my A1&A2 internship with DA40's and DA42's, nice planes, some design odities as mechanic perspective, but otherwise nice.
Please we need more videos of this awesome new plane 😍
I was expecting for this video, because I Saw on flight radar 24 some flights of da50. Good vídeo 👏
God damn this is a beautiful aircraft, if I only had the money... Love this one and the Panthera, but this is on another level!
That stall behavior is outstanding!!
So nice. Amazing. The DA 50 RG is totally out of site.
Pilots: let's do a stall.
Aircraft: what is a stall?
They were descending, so not in a stall.
Awesome video
Amazing aircraft
Well, I think I have a new dream plane!
Awesome aircraft!
Beautiful aircraft. Needs to be pilot right configured for me 😁
Such a great looking airplane
Would love to have heard that engine
Che dire , uno spettacolo!
Wow. Very nice. Now that you have the winglets out there, how about an option for a camera mount in the winglet looking back toward the cabin?

Diamond is the perfect name for that aircraft. The looks, the handling, all are exquisite. What camera is that the right seater is using?
Triple like !!! Wonderful !
Great plane! Love it!
awesome video!

Wow🔥 I like your machine/engine build line 👏🏿🤔
Wow ist das ein schönes Flugzeug. 😎🇦🇹👌
Avião sensacional!!👏👏👍👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
On UA-cam there is a pic of DA50 with a four bladed prop....what's that about?
I love this Video and i love this Airplane too... Liebe Grüße in die Heimat !
Looks a little cramped, cabin width?
Fantastic airplane! This one is practically single engine DA-62 from my point of view. And yes, physics in this simulator are not realistic, stall physics especially. xD
J/K
is it pressurized or just because it is a short flight?
I lads it's philip nice to see you once again hope you are both well what a brilliant flight with outstanding scenery. the weather was beautiful. Philip would like to wish you both a happy new year. And good luck for the future phil. Did you have a awesome festive season phil. 🍻👍🇬🇧
Would have been nice to hear the engine start! 😕
Copilot almost as tall as Captain (6’7”), is there something in the water over there? Thx for great vid!
Oh, that's a relief. I thought it was a very cramped cabin!
Potential buyer what are the requirements to fly this
Sweet! How is it in a departure stall? Full or nearly full power stall? And how is rudder authority? I havent flown anything except the old rotax powered DV and DA-20s, and the tail dragger HK Super Dimonas. But I have about 175 to 200 hours in them. I loved flying them. Nice. But out of my budget range. So I fly a Flight Design CTLSi. 125 knots at 4.5 gallons per hour using car gas.
How do you go to the bathroom?
I love this aircraft! I hate it's price and engine. If you're a millionaire price and powerplant doesn't matter. Love this aircraft it's beautiful.
Does Diamond plan on a D-52 twin with 300 hp.per4 side?
Are the Vortex generators on the wing standard equipment?
Yes, they are standard equipment!
The two guys don't look big but they seem crammed in, always rubbing against each other.
Just saw them get out the plane.... they are big guys!
What is your wing camera setup?
Loved seeing this thing at Airventure! I'll love seeing it even more in my hanger some day!
How much the price includ. delivery to Asia?
Amazing airplane, where’s the rudder trim?
It’s on the throttles where your fingers would rest
Will it hold someone 2m tall?
Austria is very beautiful
Erstklassig!!
Me gusta ese avion quizás compre uno
What is it going to cost ?
Is this turbo diesel?..
Jet-A1 fuel
A great plane for amateur solo pilotes.
😉👍
Nice airplane. The only thing that's missing, in order to be the perfect airplane, is the Ballistic Parachute System.
What’s the need for the parachute? It’s got retractable gear (good for water) Fabulous stall characteristics, and the glide range is unbelievably good
I patiently wait for this nonsensical fad ( BPS ) to pass on ! Imagine that !! One hundred years of flight history , and suddenly now we all better have 'chutes at the ready ?!
👏
😊
Besides the number of engines, is this essentially the same aircraft as the DA62?
Are those amazing stall characteristics inherent, or is that the envelope protection doing its thing?
Inherent due to wing design
pretty unfortunate forward visibility vs its younger brothers
👍
Nice video.... Nice face diapers also.
I covet this airplane.
Why face masks?
you watched a video on this amazing aircraft and THAT's what you choose to comment on?
Take the masks off
Don’t be silly.
Pfft, what a piece of junk - won’t even stall. /s
