    After the first increase, I should have said that you will have 54 stitches. In the video I accidentally said 66, my apologies! The written pattern has all the correct numbers. You can view the written pattern here: www.tealandfinch.com/2019/03/15/bobble-baby-cardigan-crochet-pattern/

      Thank you so much for clarifying that error. I gave up numerous times after trying different yarns to find I was still just getting 54. I love this cardigan pattern & will now start again. I would love to see other baby patterns you may have. Fan from the uk

    Great video and instruction. I did note that the sweater shown at the beggining of the video appears to have a straight edge up to the neck whereas this patterns ends with a curved button edge and button hole edge. Does not button the same. Made mine with just the one button right where the curve starts.

    I followed with the yoke stitches instead of measuring then I came to the sleeves and had to dig out a ruler as there was no stitch count, so to help anyone struggling with this hopefully my notes help, keep in mind I used a 5.5mm and a 8 ply acrylic so it was fairly thick.
    After her third row on the sleeve, she says to continue to 1.5 inches for me this was a total of 6 single crochet rows all up ( so 3 more )
    Then a decrease single crochet row
    Then 2 more single crochet rows = 2.5 inches
    Then a decrease single crochet row
    Then 4 more single crochet rows = 4.5 inches
    Please keep in mind this was what I needed, it very well could be different for other wool plys and hook sizes. But I do hope it helps!
    Loved the video, so easy to follow along!!

    Please make more videos like this one! I am a complete beginner and managed to follow along with this video pretty easily enough. I find you don’t go too fast like other videos, the video is clear, I can see where the stitch is supposed to go and love making baby pieces. I find following written pattern very difficult but can follow along on UA-cam videos. Thanks, keep up the good work.

    I’ve made this pattern for my grandson and it turned out beautifully. Thankyou. I have however noticed that you placed the buttons on the right hand side of your cardigan. (As it’s pink I’m assuming it’s for a girl). A girls buttons go on the left hand side and boys on the right. Just thought I’d point this out as it may confuse people. Love the tutorial though..very easy to follow. Thanks again xx

    hi, lovely cardigan and beautiful tutorial, however I think you might need to check the pattern because I followed the tutorial to the t but when I got to the arms the sizing was completely out, so I unraveled and started again thinking I had missed something and had the exact same problem when I reached the arm holes again! has anyone else had this problem or just me? sorry to moan, I really do love this pattern and still would LOVE to make it xxx

    • @JenDwyer
      @JenDwyer  5 років тому

      Emily Amanda-Belle Hi Emily! Thank you! The armhole can be tricky but I’m sure we can figure it out together. Are you making the 3/6 month size? Or a different size? The armhole will have the # of stitches skipped plus 3 for the chain. How many stitches do you have for your armhole?

    • @emilyabelle
      @emilyabelle 5 років тому

      wow quick reply! thank you! so the cardigan in its entirety at the point of the arms holes doesn't come out anywhere near as semi circular as the tutorials, it is a very slight semi circle! the stitches after iv taken for the arm hole and back piece is 14 seiches short if that makes any sense. don't worry too much I honestly just wondered if your had this query from anyone else or if it defiantly is just me not being able to count! xxx
      @@JenDwyer

    • @JenDwyer
      @JenDwyer  5 років тому

      Emily Amanda-Belle Sure! My pleasure, I’m happy to help! It sounds like maybe you’re missing some increase stitches or maybe skipped the wrong # of stitches. You could also e-mail me a picture and we can see if we can figure it out. This issue didn’t come up in testing or tech editing with any of the sizes, it might just be a simple solution.

    Hi Jen, thank you for your wonderful pattern. What should I do if, after the 2nd increase I do a few rows until it's the correct height I need but it ends in an uneven row instead of an even row? Do I just do a row extra to make it even? It would just mean it would measure a cm or so more than the pattern says.
