Video Type: India Walking Tour
Location: Dharavi: Largest Mumbai Slum.
Numerous vloggers have embarked on expeditions to India, utilizing their cameras to document their experiences. However, my content diverges from the conventional vlogger format. My channel specializes in the art of walking videos, which entails commencing the camera and wandering without a predetermined direction or script, similar to other vloggers. Unlike many, I refrain from editing my footage.
My channel name, "Unseen Walks," encompasses the essence of my content. You will not find "best street food in India" or "popular tourist attractions" in my videos, as many vloggers commonly feature. I prefer to capture the raw, unaltered beauty of India's unexplored territories.
It is crucial to note that my channel caters to a specific audience that enjoys my unconventional style. If my content does not align with your personal preferences, I respectfully urge you to peruse other vloggers' channels that may better suit your tastes. Finally, I would like to express that my commentary is not intended to disparage the Indian community, as I hold their culture and customs in high regard.
what is the solution for this i can they redevelop this area
How long you can walk
I am amazed 😂👍
We can see that you do not intend to disparage the community, however the perfect clarity of your high quality camera, and the skill with which you create the video presentation, clearly shows that this area and its inhabitants are in a primitive state of existence. There is no lane control or speed restrictions for vehicles, presenting a hazard for those walking. There is little evidence of sanitization measures, nor any attempt at general cleanliness. Anyone can see that a slum is not intended to represent typical environmental area of a city, but it is an educational opportunity to view how the poor exist and make use of what they have for their pursuit of happiness. This leaves us with mixed emotions, as no one objected to the camera, yet it did represent an intrusion into their personal lives - which triggers sympathy from most viewers, but probably disgust from others. Personally, I felt that this community wasn't as bad as others I have seen in documentaries... specifically in Somalia, Madagascar, Niger and The Congo - all very poor countries. Thanks for your hard work to present this. 👍
I personally love this format, I truly feel like I'm with you. Thank You brother... I'm from the USA and have so much respect for you sharing this unique view of the real world. Blessing to you 🙏
The people look clean and nicely dressed, but why don't they keep the streets clean?
being an Indian, loved watching 🙏
Well kept for a "slum". Paved streets and markets etc. Nicer than vids of other types of poverty stricken "slums" seen on social media. I'm reminded to be grateful for my very different life in the American Midwest. I like to watch these videos as I sew. Thank you!
New Delhi slums look worse to me.
Neat video, India sounds like a great country. 💚💛 To avoid living in the slums, stay in school and don't give up on yourself, no matter what.
You can see some of the kids are dressed in school uniforms while some kids are already working.
It;s super sad because I have many friends who have a Master's degree and cannot find work in India. Alot of the time you have to bribe someone in order to work. It's the same in Pakistan. So many highly educated people but no opportunities and when there are, you have to pay to play.
Great video love to see how others around the world live . Very good quality video, stay safe.
Soon they will open up a call center and starrt scaamming
Did you notice there are no women. I wonder why.

One thing about this video is the women’s clothing. Very colorful and pretty. Wish I could get some to buy and learn to do the different styles. Nice video. Thank you!
I'm entranced by the women's clothing. Bright, colorful, gorgeous, and ornate fabrics. It's a regal style.
I'm only seeing black burqas

Now we have slums in America..less fascinating more discouraging.

Hi LadMob. Do you plan to visit Rajasthan? I think you could do a 1 hour walking video through its breathtaking views.
I enjoy your content. Lots of love.
I spent 6 months in rajasthan on my previous trip . One of the best place in India in my opinion.
In that time I didn't filmed much, I have just a few videos around there.

Nice video!
Where do the people sleep? It’s seems like a business area in the slum. Isn’t there a nicer word for slum? To give the people dignity.
O biotipo dos homens é interessante. Todos de parecem. Adorei o movimento das pessoas .Trabalham vivem comerciam. Parece favela do Rio ou São Paulo. Movimento. Vida. Porque querem que seja o mesmo modus vivendus de outras cidades do mundo

crazy anything could pop off at any second & i don't see any police.
No, India has relatively low violence despite the poverty.

@@tonycook5802 lack of education about cleanliness and from generation to generation they live like that no change
What did the blind man say when he walked passed the fish market? Howdy Ladies!
I feel like I walked behind you as well. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. Love from Sri Lanka.
Even though this is a slum the people seem to be so friendly and nice and the women have beautiful and colorful clothes. Such wisdom they can teach us…peaceful survival and respect!
May God bless this beautiful people!
I can understand poverty and unstructured building but what stop them from keeping their living area clean.? Its not poverty but culture which is poor and unhygienic. They have been living like this for decades and never try to improve.. but yes they will never stop breeding.
Peaceful community leaves there, so they amplify in multiples to maintain peace ☺️

Exhaustion, from my expirience of being a broke person, some people work extra hard just for a few extra cent, and when they arrived home, they just want a good rest for the next day of work.
Additionally, it’s a little hard to keep the streets clean if people are walking on it 24/7
I think your most videos in islamic {Muslim}areas as we look their living style is very dirty , they don't like cleanness
Very well taken. Actually felt exhausted walking down the crowded places with you. The sound of your laugh was awesome.

RUDE COMMENT.
Good question. Poverty, ignorance, lack of education and the religious caste system. Marriage and children is the number one goal of Indians. But then maybe nature favours Indians and Chinese above all others. I'm of Indian origin but I am not married or have children so not all of us do!
Because it's considered a good deed in Islam

As a loner this made my anxiety go off the charts. Waaaay to much noise and people. Good gravy. I don't know how they can live like this! I would go insane.
Hmmm..... 1st world problems
@@genericguy_ There are people who can't handle chaos and I am one of them. I thrive best with total peace and quite. That is why people move to the mountains or Alaska, homesteads living close in nature. That has nothing to do with a 1st World problem. Believe it or not, there are many who can't cope with over populated cities with 1,000's of distracting sounds and chaos.

@@sallyrickerson9139 well if you just like peace & quiet, then I understand how it would cause you more stress & anxiety. Fair point.
It's amazing how this people are never fighting or complaing. They don't seem to care much about anything and neither of them seem to have the illness of the century- depression. They seem such nice people and, from what I know, they don't have much restrictive laws. As a matter of fact, they don't seem to have any laws or rules at all.
I also find that most of them are not willing to live the place at all. It's like a paradox of living.
Amazing !
Thank you author.
where are the good looking fair bollywood actresses
Nice walk through different neighborhoods. I don't know why you titled this "Inside World's LARGEST SLUM:Dharavi..." Who called this area a "slum"??? I saw shops with the fronts nicely swept, I saw school children in their uniforms, I saw moms out doing the daily food shopping, I saw businessmen doing business to take care of their families. I saw apartments on top of shops.... I don't know why you title this "Largest SLUM". This is their neighborhood. I have been to different parts of India. So much looks like these neighborhoods you filmed. Is ALL OF INDIA A SLUM to you?????? Okay, some cities are more opulent.. but there are the servant class everywhere who don't live in palaces, but they don't call their neighborhoods "SLUMS". Hare Krishna.
This place is not a slum. It can even be considered a commercial area in Asian standards.
You are so ignorant. This is a slum by Asian standards. Countries like China, South Korea, Japan and Singapore are so developed and are better than even the US.

You have to wonder, where do these souls live? Do they live above a store front, some hovel elsewhere or have a decent dwelling?
You can see some kids are dressed up to go to school while some kids are already working. You can tell some of the younger generation is more friendly towards the camera filming them while some of the older people are suspicious.

This place is not as dirty as Manila.
This one of your multiple vlogs on Dharavi I suppose you love the slum very much or the supposed exotica to show hard life of underprivileged and get vicarious pleasure that westerners are better off
Maybe, but I feel like this is reality. We can't try to hide this part of our country.
We are improving,by developing the slums into multi-story buildings. But still, this is reality, you can run or hide from it.
In this part of the city I enjoyed more than new dheli and Mumbai together. People here are more nicer, kind and POLITE than parts of the cities iv mentioned above.
99% of India is hard life, compared with South of Mumbai where some villas costs 20 to 50 million dollars !
Let's don't forget western countries got slums as well but we call them " bad neighbourhoods "
In my opinion developing Dharavi into skyscrapers will ruin the charm of the city!
Mumbai is famous for " slumdog millionair, bolliwood and that enormous 2 billion dollar house LOL .
Removing the slums will be bad :)

I have many questions, however, I will ask just a few. Do they not have any sense of how traffic flows through the streets? With so many people including children walking about, you would think that would be a first priority even if it is in the slums. What does it smell like? I can only imagine, but might be pleasantly surprised. I briefly saw a Dr. sign with no queues, so that was good, unlike London. I viewed another medical shop, that would have been interesting to peek into. As a non traveler, it was interesting to watch. Would I ever want to visit there, well no. Unfortunally people have to make do with what they have. We cannot solve the worlds problems. Maybe next time, peek into a couple of shops, you never know what you will see. Best wishes on your travels. Greetings from London UK.
Lots of Muslim people in this slum area
