    can't thank y'all enough!
i have an 05 Toyota Camry V6. i replaced alternator, battery recently but the car failed to start a few days. Thanks to this video, I was able to save $200-300 by replacing the starter myself. My old camry didn't quite look like the one in the video under the hood but I managed. Also had to place the remanufactured starter upside down since the solenoid & actuator was inverted compared to the original starter.

Always safer to remove the battery altogether that wire tend to flap back and forth and possibly touch the terminal.

I'm gonna change mine tomorrow. I've done this more then once over the last few years. Idk if it's poor quality parts or some kind of defects with the engine. Runs smooth with no grinding. The car just doesn't start. Anyone else experience changing there's multiple times.ive owed it for 7 years and changed the starter at least 3x.

Original one lasted 6 years.... Toyota quality is going downhill.

You said the problem was a "Electronic Die". What does that mean? Or did you just mumble it? I think your one second mumble ruined the video!

Electronic fails always that´s for sure, you can rebuild it. But at what cost ?

she's saying that one is an electronic die as in the solenoid internally has stopped working .
