When loading cartridges or just using single shot I pour some pellets into the lid. This makes them easier to pick up and it doesn’t damage the other pellets by digging into them.
Nice one Jonny! Good to see a budget end review and a reasoned test. That's the kind of affordable type of gun that gets more people on the road to enjoying this great sport of ours! Few of us can afford or appreciate (say) a Rolls Royce as a first car, but we can aspire to over the years!
I have one of these rifles and I absolutely love it. I have though put a Hawk 3x12x50 scope on it. 50 yd accuracy is as good as it gets frankly. Only fault I can find really is the air bottle is just a tad small. I'm getting 40 accurate shots and then it drops off. However the small bottle helps to make it as light as it is. Love it. 👍😉
Great review.. I talked myself out of budget things - when I factor in the cost of all the accessories and usage over a year or two, a few quid more on a nicer bicycle/gun/camera/car/shoes makes little difference financially but a big difference in terms of user enjoyment and ROI
Spot on. They've actually made it worse by moving the air guage to the danger end rather than the underside Luke the PR900w. Crazy that they are charging twice the price for just a different stock.
Even with the Fortitude being well known for being under powered, every time I see people review it they lay down very respectable groups. So my money will be on a Fortitude (when I get some)
"Pro adaptive" and the smirking had me laughing. Oddly, I tried a bargain rifle, and it was so horrible, I called for an RMA# the same day. Mine was the Remington 725VTR, a chinese crossman. Yikes, there was so much wrong with it I would be here forever--- it was the worst rifle I ever fired. Seems like you made out much better. At least the Stoeger works properly. I've used the Stoeger coach gun as a truck gun for five years. They're very beefy, and work good even when dirty.
I have one of these rifles and love it. its zeroed at 30 yards, tried it a few times it at 50 yards and hit the target every time, the group was a little open each time cause I didn't take the time to fine tune it but was very happy.

Hello, I recently bought a small cottage in Normandy & eventually hope to shoot there - a good sized fallen barn offers a good backstop. Things are kinda on hold for a while because of a broken leg 🙄
That right there is a really cool peashooter awesome looking now if it can group!!! Then I really want one and I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say it’s going to be the number one selling air gun in the world... Thanks 🙏
For 30 yard shooting you may as well get a higher quality springer, from my experience once you know how to shoot them they are just as accurate as this gun at those shorter ranges (Hw97 myself) The pcp guns come into their own for longer ranges, which then requires regulation for consistency. Plus a pump, maybe a tank, a power supply, for plinking in the countryside 50 shots goes quickly. Enjoy your reviews.👍
Nice review - fair and balanced. Nice entry level PCP to get you into the sport - nowt wrong with starting small, think mine was a PR900W, using a RM8 UC now.
I bought an old Daystate a few years ago,tbh if this was on the market back then this would’ve been a better choice. I’m more into my shotgun but this looks ideal for the use I need an air rifle for
Just watched this, I recently bought the Bullpup version. The side rails are for the Bipods, they don't go under the stock, and come in pairs. The Gamo ones fit, and are about £20 cheeper
@@stukyuIt’s easy yes but you have to break it down almost completely to reach the reg., unless you have a really long screwdriver that can reach the adjust screw without removing the reg from the air tube. In that case all you gotta do is unscrew the pressure gauge, it’s abit fiddly but can be done. Im getting ~25 regulated shots on my .177 fac, it was 12 out of the box but ofc it lowers your fps quite abit which is fine by me. Just make small adjustments at a time, cw to decrease the reg preasure, ccw to increase it.
@@gigolocan8914 Ok thanks mate will give it a go. But I believe the reg is set at 140 bar but closer to 100 gives a better shot count and a flatter power curve.
@@stukyu Stoeger says it’s set at 125-130, mine fell off the reg at around 140, now it’s around 100. Less power but more consistent shots per fill. GL with it. Edit: I believe i ended up at approx 1/2 turn cw from the factory settings if i remember correctly was awhile ago I messed with it.
I have the S20? old break barrel .22 with the wood stock and after zero then three shots can hit 12G primers at 30 yards. not bad for GBP 140. shame the trigger guard was broken on arrival yet the box was undamaged SGC!
I brought one last week. I needed something for murdering squirrels. I can't fault your review. The only thing that I had a problem with is the supplied scope, which is useless due to the exposed turrets. I just put on an old 3X9 that I had spare. I'm enjoying it. The squirrels are not.
First video of yours I've seen, and first look at this air rifle, and very impressed with both! Definitely a notch or two up on my first forays into the joys of air rifle shooting in the early 70's - a Mibro G27 .22 and Mod 25 .177 with iron sight! Definitely interested in this and subscribed thank you
it is the same gun basically as the Diana Stormrider or the Artemis/SPA PR900. I have a PR900 in full power, shoots 18 grain pellets about 800FPS, gives me about 35 shots (5 magazines) before it falls off the regulator. Also has a very nice wood stock.
Good job on the video. I could not get the screw on suppressor. So it comes with one kinda bulky and it prevents clear view of the pressure meter. This video provides a lot of good information with OUT a lot of lengthy conversation of the rifle. The most needed information is the amount of penetration you get on the clear jell per hundred feet. Then 200 feet. It would be nice to know if you can plunk a rabbit, chicken or a good size turkey head shot. I have a .177 pump pellet pistol and its good for over 100 feet with standard stock sites. Don't even care about the gun after seeing his Allen key technique, imma have to practice that lol
He handles that Allen wrench like a pro

Easily the best review video ever!
Well made vid! The first decent review about this airgun, I think you just made me buy this one 👌🏻
It's an Artemis pr900w just with a different stock and the price it's nearly £150 more than the pr900w
Spot on. They've actually made it worse by moving the air guage to the danger end rather than the underside Luke the PR900w. Crazy that they are charging twice the price for just a different stock.
With the gauge on the end a huma reg might not remove the gauge on this one.
Almost forgot. It likes "longer" pellets. Short form pellets tend to be a bit sticky going in and get damaged, resulting in poor accuracy.
Even with the Fortitude being well known for being under powered, every time I see people review it they lay down very respectable groups. So my money will be on a Fortitude (when I get some)

The most informative thing in this video was the way you screwed the Allen screws in. Nice spinning technique 👌

How else would you do it? i would do it that way not rocket science.
Think I'll stick with my Walther rotex rm8 for 300 pounds I think I did well.
I've been thinking of buying the rm8 , would you rate it as an consistently accurate gun ?
I just got a Walther Dominator 1250 .22 for 250 euros in a mint condition and I have to say, Walther is great quality !

Yes, but have you seen these new fangled horseless carriages?
