Space Cadet was there for me during some of the darkest times of my life. It means so much to me as an album and as a piece of art; it was and always will be in my heart. Learning that Nigel Good was coming back wasn't something I was expecting in 2024 but it means so much to me. "A Little Something" is an absolute masterpiece and takes you on a journey of musicality. This is the best day of my life. I remember when Nigel released Space Cadet, and it was a great album. 9 years later, we got another album from him and it was honestly a better version. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Nigel Good, and Monstercat Silk for making this work! 🧡🧡🧡
Quite literally the greatest return that could've happened. Nigel's been influencing me for years now with Space Cadet being my favorite album of all time and Nothing Out Here being an incredible album on its own. He was gone for 9 years just to return with some incredible music that sounds like it hasn't aged a day since 2016. Love you Nigel for being an integral part of the Silk community in the earlier years, to now being a legend in the edm space.🧡
I've talked time and time again about how influential Nigel's music has been to me, so I won't go on that spiel again. But I will say that this entire album is exactly why I fell in love with his music in the first place. It's perfect in every way. Album of the year easily, album of the decade possibly. Worth the wait.

The Edge Part 2 and the transition into Rocket Science is just so captivating, it really takes you to a place beyond our world, you can hear the story unfolding through sound and atmosphere, so incredible!

OMG! OMG! Goosebumps began in unison with the start of the album, and they increased in intensity, as they travelled down from somewhere in the middle and then down the back of my head, igniting my spine and reaching across my shoulders, down each arm to my fingertips, but also into my deepest innermost being.. fiercely, but caringly building into indescribably beautiful emotional explosions within my heart and inside me, filling my entire being with euphoric bliss.. and when did this all subside? Oh.. I'm not totally certain.. I think it was somewhere by the end of the last song.. or no.. maybe it was during that comfortable silence that wrapped me up in its arms like a warm blanket, where I found myself lingering for about 10 minutes. .. Will I ever be the same after this day?

Still am a little sad though that neither "Space Cadet" nor this new album is available at bandcamp or even as physical disc (who even sells physical discs nowadays?) - but i'll gladly stream this :)

Space Cadet LP pov: The 8.5 year old LP doesn't make a difference between this and the newer LP and shows NIGEL Good's first release with Mango, Fenomenon, Go Periscope, Illuminor, Davek, Andre Frauenstein, and Stefan Ludik!
