Nice seeing you & Retro Moments doing game hunting here, mate! Hope you guys picked up something bloody awesome! 😎👋🌃🌙
I'd say we picked-up some good ones what do you think?
Never knew about either of those two games.
A vertical Parodius and Resident Evil Minus One! .
Thanks for the info, nice collab, and congrats on the 5 years! 🙂
I'm pretty sure RetroMoments lives down the road from me, too.
Thanks I'm glad I could introduce you to some new retro titles. Appreciate the well wishes. You live near retro moments? Very cool. Do you have a favorite retro console?
@@ScruffyLookinRGB If he's in Aichi, then yes 😂. I tried hitting him up a few years ago but apparently he had to go back to Europe or something. Unsure. I'm probably just a bigot and he wanted nothing to do with me 😂
re: Favourite retro console? Probably the Super Nintendo or PS1.. But I have a few lying around- Currently faffing with the Twin and the 3DO. Caps definitely need switching out!
Oh snap I didn't realize you are also in Japan. Very cool. If you are ever in tokyo hit me up. I'd love to visit Aichi at some point I've only ever speed through on the way down south.
@@ScruffyLookinRGB Oh cool, thanks
I may head up to Tokyo next month to visit a few friends and have a look around Odaiba, and more arcades places.
Will be good to have a beer or three. 🍻
Some pretty good pickups. I want to play Sweet Home. It'll be cool to play the precursor to one of the biggest franchises in gaming history. Also congrats on your 5th year anniversary. I found your channel last year and subscribed after the first video I watched.
Ray thank you so much I appreciate the support I'm glad you are enjoying my content. Sweet home looks really nice I'd love to play through it myself but I don't have the time. Unfortunately
I am subscribed to both of you guys lol love it
We thank you for the support😉🙏
I own a CIB SM USA...SWEET HOME is a cool game..congrats! I also follow Retromoments...cool channel
Awesome! Thank you! Yes smb usa has a nice box the Japanese art is far superior 👌
Man you're a posting machine recently. Keep going!
Thanks, will do! Appreciate the support man 🙏
This was awesome to see the 2 of you team up. I agree with the statement that Mega Man 2 aka Rockman 2 is the best Mega Man of all time on NES.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video 📹 Rockman 2 is incredible 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I really liked Adam's pick up, Flying Hero. Definitely one to look out for next time I am in Japan. Regarding your pick-ups. I never really was into horror, so my personal pick up preference would have been Super Mario USA. Other than that I might have picked-up Link's Adventure for the FDS.
I agree with you on the horror opinion I just thought that sweet home was a significant game so I chose it. Looking back I might have grabbed mother instead. Flying Hero is a great game Adam snagged a good one for sure.
I think I saw snesdrunk's video on flying hero? might think about that one for the SNES/SFC collection. (since I own a region-free retron 2 that plays SFC stuff with no issue!) might have to sit down and try sweet home's translation, I have heard of it as being the inspiration for biohazard/RE back in the day.
It was a good one the game is quite charming. Sweet home also has some good graphics for it's time👌
You can do a lot with 5000 yen, looking forward to seeing what you pick up
Well did you agree with our pick ups?
Holy crap, I'd better get CiB copies of DQ 1~4 before they're out of my price range! 😬 (Already have all the SFC ones...including a copy of DQ5 with an original Sofmap receipt, dated release day. 😁👌)
Some real gems there! Damn good price on that copy of Mother... Wonder what the price was on that loose RockMan 2 at the end, I need me a copy... 🤔
Rockman 2 was 2300 yen, I believe. DQ games were once very cheap not too long ago. I agree MOTHER seems like a good pick too 😉
Congratulations on 5y ❤😊
Thank you for the kind words 🙏
He was looking for Yume Penguin Monogatari, hope he knows it should have the Konami logo, and has both Penta, and the girl, I think Penka (or Penko). I snagged that sucker finally late last year for around $40 loose. I was tired of chasing dead ends with copies going for over $50, one fell under $50 at just the right time.
Binary Land is not a bad game, but gets dull quickly. As for the Tecmo Rabbit, he was their mascot for their sports game during the late 8 and into the 16 bit era.
Hopefully I can make your livestream, this week was vacation, but it's back to work today. I'd love to know which day this livestream will be, much gaming to be talked about.
I have seen Retro Moments channel, I grumble each time he passes aa Puyo Puyo game, and never picks it up to look at it. 😄
I do remember you talking about grabbing penguin monogatari nice pick up I still regret not grabbing a loose copy at bookoff for 500 yen.
I'll advertise the date and time of the live stream in the community tab keep you eyes peeled for it😉👌
@@ScruffyLookinRGB Your second best 500 yen find, right after Doremi Fantasy. Still can't wrap my mind around how the heck that ended up in the junk bin.
What is the date and time in PST when you are doing the livestream for the giveaway?
It will be next weekend haven't decided just yet make sure to sub and turn on notifications. I will advertise it in the community tab when it has been finalized.
Does Japan have a game genie or similar devices? I guess you could use an adapter
A game genie? Hmm that's a good question I'm not sure. A quick Google search didn't reveal one but I've never seen one either if there is one it might be rare. 🤔
Hi Scruffy watching my friend Adam on your great channel I’m the proud like number of 69 lol 😊😂
Thank you a friend of Adam is a friend of mine. Thank you for the support 🙏

Nice collab! And the store seems to have some really good stuff at reasonable prices.
Personally I was eyeing that game called STED for 6600 early on. It goes for way more online. Also a reasonably priced Mother like this would have been cool too.
Btw. that game Magic John is called Totally Rad in the West and goes for much less money. It's a decent Mega man clone, that worth a try.
Also, was Adam maybe looking for Antarctic Adventures? Binary Land is an interesting looking puzzle/maze game, too.
Good call! STED is an rpg if I remember right. And I kina wish now that I had grabbed that MOTHER buy I am happy with sweet home. Magic John's game mechanics kinda remind me of Namco star wars vaguely.
@@ScruffyLookinRGB Sweet Home and Mario USA are both great pickups, so I have nothing against them. It's just that I already own them and was looking for games, that I don't have.
Btw. I just noticed that on the Mother box it said that there's no manual and the game has dirt and scratches. So maybe that's why it was so cheap.
