Mine still works flawlessly as well. I have the tuner/cd player and the cassette and I’m in the US and my unit was originally sourced possibly in the UK since the required voltage is 240. I use a step up transformer and it works well!
It's full of 4558 op amps (SMD, so you won't replace them easily)...If I recall right. And many doesnt like them :-) But well, 4558 is fine op amp enough when the design is decent. I also use FX-audio pre amp with it and it warms the clear but quite clinical/cold sound of the machine. Well spent 8€...
@toponeltd I was asking how to do "sound reset", but as if it's reseting itself automatically when power off (at least if you take it away from the "wall power") then I'm maybe fine without a remote controller. As I believe you can only tune the sound (treble/bass) with a remote?
I had this complete system from new with surround sound satellite speakers. I wasn't impressed at all,the quality of sound was mediocre at best, the bass was hollow and weak and was very difficult to get a decent sound out of it with the various filter settings. Was very disappointed, especially how much the system cost new. I ended up throwing it out it was that poor. I think the looks sold it for many people..

I have this system along with the mini-disc and surround processor decks. I bought it many years ago as ex-display and it still works flawlessly.
A good piece of kit like this is always worth keeping hold of!

Your remote falls out because it’s not clicked into place! If you press the remote further back into the case it should click in and stay secure.
My still works perfectly but I have never had the tape thing for it I just have the cd player
One of the big missing things cannot keep the preferences of sound return every boot to preset, i wanna know is there is a method to avid it?!?!?
