This exact same thing happened to myself and and ex boyfriend when in Vegas, with Mike Tyson they very next day after a fight night in the Garden Arena of MGM, July 2006. My ex was checking his camera and said the only person he really wanted to get a photo of was Mike Tyson. Eva Longoria, John Travolta, John McEnroe and also Evander Holyfield were all ringside we got pics of them from a distance. As he was saying this, a crowd rushed passed us in the reception hallway, lots of video cameras and security, entourage. I shouted - ‘holy f*8k look there is he right there, go ask him for a photo. Lots of people were asking for a photo and security said no and walked on. He turned back instantly and came straight over to us and said - you two only for a photo. Didn’t utter another word. I think it might have been the luck of the Irish and our Belfast accents or he overheard our convo! One of the most surreal moments ever. Still have the photos of us each with him beside him. He is a small guy in height as he stood next to the ex of 6ft 2, but his arms were as wide as a bus door, and back then had a look that would frighten anyone. Always said he looked dead behind the eyes, and you can see it from the photos too. He’s definitely more at one with himself these days. Couldn’t believe it. That entire trip was filled with crazy synchronicities tbf!
