My parents are pretty well off, they have helped me and covered closing costs for a house. And they drew up a contract for me to pay them back which I did. I know I can always go to them when I need help but I ALWAYS pay it back, and I appreciate them.

How did the defendant not know when CPS came to her house? If CPS showed up at my door I would remember the exact date and time.

If someone called CPS on me and my parents asked to be listed as resources, I would've been incredibly grateful!

Did someone else notice this: whenever the defendants are called out on a lie, the daughter assumes a stone-cold pose, which is kinda weird.

The daughter looked like she was going to explode with anger at any moment. Yet her father helped her twice, with the house and then with the CPS. How much did she think he earned working in IKEA?

How sharper than a serpent’s tooth it is to have a thankless child.

How dare he try to keep his grandchild out of foster care! His daughter needs to grow tf up. If she wasn't doing drugs instead of paying her father back then she wouldn't have anything to worry about.

I'm wondering how they ever qualified for a home loan in the first place. They said they were in a bad place financially and living with her mother. Male defendant had barely $1,000 and he was the only person working at the time at a warehouse. So who would be handing out home loans in that kind of situation?

in early 2003/6 loan officers were creating many loans with fudged papers, for people who couldn’t afford payments! Most failed, and housing went crazy maybe 08, and crisis spread to Europe…I don’t remember details much, as I am too old!

Neither a borrower nor a lender be as the borrower is slave to the lender. Bum he was whose elevator failed to reach the top floor.

The fact she’s trying to sue the dad for calling cps to say list me is WILD!!! Say THANK YOU SO MUCH. They are so unintelligent.

I was early 20s when a co-worker got married and I learned that her parents bought the newlyweds a house as their wedding present. I was gobsmacked because I’d never heard of such before. In my family and friends’ families, we were expected to work and buy our own house. It was never talked about, but you learned it through osmosis. Her parents were definitely in a different financial demographic than mine.

It happened many times in Western Europe! My parents bought me a 750K house, but only &250 K were given as a gift, they didn’t ask if I could afford the mortgage payments 😳😩!! It was hard covering all costs, my husband covered other areas, but then he died 3 years later, 2 weeks after my mom! was left with a 2 year old, and 6 months pregnant, no help, and a huge mortgage!! Well that was exactly 50 years ago this month! Be happy 😜😇

How ungrateful are some people. The car was free. Amd the grandmother says 'she drives a piece of trash'. Yes, that you didn't pay for.
