Woah! MR. FERRONI??? Man, I haven't seen him in over 10 years. He was my social studies teacher in high school back in 2010 and 2011. He was the only person I was able to connect with all those years ago. Without him, I wouldve never passed high school. He showed me so many techniques that I still use even to this day! Teachers like him are a life changers. Thank you for never giving up on me Ferroni. You're the best teacher anyone could've asked for!

I don’t understand why someone would be a teacher if they don’t care about what they do, I’m currently an assistant toddler teacher and learnt how underpaid teachers really are. It’s definitely a field to be in because you enjoy it and care about kids, not for the money because we don’t make a lot at all. Sometimes I do the note/message thing at the end of the year to show them that I don’t hate them at all and I really appreciate all the work they’re willing to put in and the patience just to help us understand a subject, I find it fascinating especially with a classroom that’s not willing to learn.

We asked everyone in the class to make a one minute video of why they thought that year was so special, and why our teachers meant so much to them. We then made a little video with those clips. We added some pictures and other videos that were taken through out the year. When we showed it to our teachers, they cried. It makes me so happy that they really appreciated it!

our drama class did something similar when our teacher was going through a rough time. her child had to have surgery so she was away for a week during stressful school time so she didn't want to be away but had to look after her child so while she was gone our class made a card for her and her child and then we made brownies to give to her on the first day she came back after her child's surgery. the best part of it all was that we made her day and we had a massive group hug afterwards. she kept saying we didn't need to do this but she makes us brownies for our birthdays or when she can tell we are stressed and she will give us mental health breaks and hugs when we need it. i currently have a broken foot and she hasn't stopped offering to help me around the school and stuff. what we did was nothing compared to what she does for us and i'm just glad that we could make her feel better and feel loved.

As someone who just graduated high school and is planning to become a teacher, this video made me cry in a good way. A lot of people have told me that I shouldn’t become a teacher even though I have wanted to since I was seven. Because the pay is bad, because you have to deal with troublesome kids, etc etc. And they start to make me question whether or not I should keep pursuing that dream. Then I see stuff like this where teachers have helped kids and changed their lives in some cases, have students that admire them and respect them. I see that there are good aspects to being a teacher and the passion and spark for that relights again.

This is why at the end of every school year, I make it my goal to fold origami flowers for all my teachers. It brings me joy to see even as another year has passed, they still have my flower on their desk, or the little note looks a bit more wrinkled than it was before

A couple of friends and I would draw on post-it notes and put them on our English teachers' cabinet thing and there were eventually over 80 post-its on the door. We are no longer there and he no longer works as an English teacher he is now a stem teacher, but he sent us a picture of our post-its laminated and hung in his new classroom for everyone else to see. So now even though we're not there it makes me happy knowing there is a piece of us with him as he continues to teach and I hope to be back and see all of the post-its in their glory.

I remember my English teacher in high school, she was so sweet, she told us at the last day of the year to write our opinion about her teaching, and I didn't know what to write, I kept thinking the whole day and just before the end of the day I wrote it on a note and hanged it on the door, the next year I met her in the school and she somehow knew that it was me who left the note, she always try to read people's personality, she was incredible!

I had English teacher who had surgery and was out for months and when he came back at the end of my senior year I asked if I could give him a hug and he gave me the tightest hug ever. I think I was probably one of the only students that really asked if he was okay. 🥺

seeing how great and humble and sweet these teachers are (especially the history teacher) reminds me of how boring and rude my teachers are bahahha
like my history teacher, first of all would never get notes like that be he just ain’t that nice, and also even if he would get notes he would probably like throw them away or smth hahah like he WOULD NOT even care soooo💀..having that nice and humble teachers is rlly amazing bc it would probably make school much more fun and give u less anxiety 🤍
