Analysing this setup, I realise why it is so effective. He places his two most powerful weapons (corn cannons, gloomshrooms) in a safe medium which is the pool. No digger zombie to deal with, no gargantuans, no zomboni, no catapult zombies. And they can provide support to lanes outside the pool. In military terms, he has heavy artillery support from an impassable hill (metaphor for pool) which beats down any strong enemy units.
This setup proved to be immensely helpful, surpassing my previous record of 20 highest flags. I am truly grateful for this and extend my heartfelt thanks to you.
@@uncolorr nope, if you try this in mobile game, the survival endless in mobile game is a lot more difficult than pc version because there's a lot of very tough gargantuar in 50 flags above and the line with torchwood is very weak to gargantuars than line with winter melon and glooms
Rows 2 and 5 have no torchwood. I can tell that the purpose is to not have fire peas, cause that cancels the slow from melon, but that's not worth it. The extra dps from the slow+glooms is prob not worth swapping the melon for a torch, which equals 4 gatlings and 16 regular peashooters. On the otherhand, if you observe rows 1 and 6, the splash from winter melon slows those rows as well, but the fire peas unfreeze the first zombie in those lanes, and yet the weaker outer rows (without pool gloom damage) are sufficient. You could argue that the winter melon is supposed to slow the zombies behind the first gargantuar, making it worth it. There is the option of keeping the winter melon and replacing the gatling pea with a torchwood.
@@chucklenut7974 winter melons aoe is applying freeze to 3x3 fire peas apply aoe in around 1x1 i don't know what is so hard to understand about winters simply having a larger area of affect

I did something like this to reach 1000 flags but it was much less elaborate. It had no space for the zombies to walk on unless it was a spike rock and the gatling Peas were all at the back
This strategy may be improved, i have some points u may consider about. 1. The position of two cattails, they are used to kill balloons but two cattails at 3 columns may let balloons land on cobs. 2. Gatling peas on row 2 and 5, may not provide stable damage because if gargantuars are in front and Jack In Box zombies are behind then there will be a big risk, so i think put fume-shroom at (2, 6) (2, 5) and (5,6) (5,5) is better and winter melons can be put behind. 3. Bungees. There may be risks at (3,1)(3,6) which u may not use ice shroom to kill bungees( I didn’t calculate this is by my experiences) 4.Jack-In-The-Box zombies. There are two types of JITB zombies: early explode and late explode, The earliest time that it explodes is 430cs(4.3s) for early explode and 13s for late explode since it refreshes, general ways to control it are by ice shrooms, nuke(Doom shrooms) and jalapeño with cherry. How are u going to control the explosion? 😊

he most likely unlocked everything already making coins useless, having to collect the silver and gold coins are a damn pain so its better to focus in the defense and the diamonds.
Using this exact same strategy i survived 66 flags... It would have been cooler if i got 69, but the zombies slowly destroyed everything in the 66th wave. But i played in last stand endless

Hey dude can you answer my question. Why I cannot fix my pumpkins just like this guy does? The only way is to wait until the pumpkins get destroyed so I can use another one. The worst thing is I cannot use the shovel cause it takes out my plants and not the harmed pumpkin.
@@DavidZendo98 You can use shovel to take pumpkin out, just move your cursor a little bit lower when targeting a plant with a shovel. You should see the pumpkin highlighted a bit - it means that shovel will take it out, and not the plant. And to fix the pumpkin or wallnut you need to buy special upgrade from Crazy Dave
how did you set this up? when i account for the tunneling zombies the gargantuars get me. when i focus on cob cannons i can't set up the gloom shrooms and while waiting to place down the cob cannons so i don't have to remove any plants i get stuck with a bunch of zombies pressing two kernel-pults which eats up sun for protection and it leaves me with inadequate offense during the later waves. there has to be a specific starting formation that allows for the most efficient placement (mainly not having to replace plants) i can't even beat the 15 flag high score i got while not using this strategy. any tips?
My advice is that you have to think what you gonna do next,It's very important to caculate and set up the line up that you want without mistake. Second, This endless mode not only build a good formation but also require good flexible+ keepcalm ( stay calm when a huge waves of garganturars come to use insta boom + cob canon or sacrifice some plants to buy more time for peashooter deal damage,...).The last thing is just proactive in any situation. Sorry mah eng is so bad xD
@@A3ternusA fyi, cattails have balloons as their first priority, changing the position wont change anything except the cattails' projectiles reaching the balloons slower. those two glooms in the back are already taking care of the diggers, and balloons ignores your defense until they get hit by cattails, if they keep prioritizing the diggers, the balloons wont have trouble setting off all your lawnmowers and eating your brains.
@@nobody4552 the cattails will switch their target to the balloons immediately then if the balloon guy falls then the pea shooter at the back would finish it off
you need sunflowers to allow you to keep replanting pumpkins(I recommend putting ladders on plants, so that you dont have to worry about replanting pumpkins all the time. )
I always had a problem with giga-gargantuars. My winter-melon setup + gloom shrooms(in the pool) helps a little bit against them, but I cant survive without insta-kills
This looks like much less that shows up on my screen, my screen always gets packed with giga gargantuars after round 30, this looks super calm and easy for whatever reason
@@nauimunoz3644 that's why it's harder to play cobless on mobile version. And if you use 8+ cobs, it would be hard to click those cobs without misclicking. That's why the best setup for mobile version is 4 cobs setup.

this setup is very good, i only had one major problem that also lead to my defeat. how do you keep the sun production alive? at some point i ran out of suns and since there was no place for any flowers i died heroically. anybody got an idea how to fix this?
My problem is all of the RNG in the box zombies that destroy my pool glooms and the torchwoods. Ruins every one of my runs. Got to flag 83 at least though. Trying to get 100.
I tried this from memory because I couldn’t be bothered to look for the video but at round 21 I failed to a giga gargantuar don’t include the 4 cobs and only put 2 and had no winter melon that what problem failed me and I also put twin sunflowers where the 3rd 4th cobs are and put them where the 4th row of gloom shrooms are

the torchwood is more likely gonna be stomp by gargantuar instead eaten by others zombie . he dont have any sunflowers to produce more sun . even he have thousand sun , he better keep it for double pumkin for protection from imps and dolphins and all explode and ice mushroom
cobs - clean the small so the gatling can focus on gargantuar . Cattail - ballons & some digger Gloom - digger & some imps Umbrella Leaf - Bungee & Catapult Torchwood - for more damage on each side of the lane Winter melon - slowing down the gargantuar so the gloomshroom can rapid fire them more Gloomshroom - all pool zombie & and cover the lane near them especially help the gatling & winter to bring down the gargantuar faster

@@cllee622 Depending on your setup and if you can afford doing it, using spikeweeds can be better than using spikerocks (having and using both is better tho). The thing with using spikerocks is that now you have another plant to maintain (with a very slow recharge) cuz they break after killing 9 zombonis, and if multiple zombonis are on the same spot they use multiple uses of spikerocks, so they last less than usual, and due to they slow recharge you won't be able to maintain them. With spikeweeds you don't have to maintain another plant and they can kill multiple zombonis at the same time (they kill themselves tho). The problem is that doing that costs a lot of sun

This is the first time i saw a non laddered strat above 1k flags

If with there is a hero plant if you're a JTTW player. This will end up approximately 9100+ flags
You should place the cattails at the back so it will target the miners first before baloons
You actually don't want it to do that since the cattails are for the balloon zombies and that's what the gloom shroom is for

I'd prefer putting spike rock on each 4 lanes because gargantaur can spawn in any location. Overall your defense is amazing.
by looking at his sun he maybe farm everything when he is level one and stuck there for few days

Winter Melons as your main weapon are also good, it will slows down the zombies and the same time, it deals a massive damage

I'd replace one of the gatling repeaters in rows 2 and 5 with torchwood. You'd get a 50% damage boost.

I tried this from memory because I couldn’t be bothered to look for the video but at round 21 I failed to a giga gargantuar don’t include the 4 cobs and only put 2 and had no winter melon that what problem failed me and I also put twin sunflowers where the 3rd 4th cobs are and put them where the 4th row of gloom shrooms are
This is a mid strategy, i wouldn't say it's bad it's just that it lacks on sun production, i mean look at that sun lost

My strategy was fill whole lawn with melons, gloom shroms at end, and 2 cattails
Sadly bungee stole my cattails and lost to ballon zombie
Remeber, if you wont place anything down use doomshroom, another insta kill

there's literally so many weakness in this build. Here's some of it
1.) There's no laddering so it requires pumpkin and its imitater. So you won't be having imitater ice shroom.
2.) This guy use a lot of instants because of the Firepeas ineffectivity against Gigas. And despite all of those instants consumed, he still lose his torchwood
3.) Winter Melon + Fume shrooms & glooms proper formation is better than the Firepeas
4.) Digger & Imps only handled by 1 glooms so the pumpkins will have to be repaired more often.
5.) No one spesific tiles to use Ice shrooms so when the Gigas & Zombonis already crowded this defense, it would be really hard to find a spot to plant ice shrooms
6.) 4 cob build with a lot of instants usage & no laddering need 4 twin sunflowers, not just 2 or even no twin sunflowers

the torchwood is more likely gonna be stomp by gargantuar instead eaten by others zombie . he dont have any sunflowers to produce more sun . even he have thousand sun , he better keep it for double pumkin for protection from imps and dolphins and all explode and ice mushroom

cobs - clean the small so the gatling can focus on gargantuar .
Cattail - ballons & some digger
Gloom - digger & some imps
Umbrella Leaf - Bungee & Catapult
Torchwood - for more damage on each side of the lane
Winter melon - slowing down the gargantuar so the gloomshroom can rapid fire them more
Gloomshroom - all pool zombie & and cover the lane near them especially help the gatling & winter to bring down the gargantuar faster

For me the zombonies were the most difficult since they can’t be slowed or stunned
spam puff shrooms (imitator as puff shrooms too) so you can make the zombies waste 2 seconds on a 0 sun plant

the real trick is to use spikerocks(not spikeweed)
@@cllee622 Depending on your setup and if you can afford doing it, using spikeweeds can be better than using spikerocks (having and using both is better tho).
The thing with using spikerocks is that now you have another plant to maintain (with a very slow recharge) cuz they break after killing 9 zombonis, and if multiple zombonis are on the same spot they use multiple uses of spikerocks, so they last less than usual, and due to they slow recharge you won't be able to maintain them. With spikeweeds you don't have to maintain another plant and they can kill multiple zombonis at the same time (they kill themselves tho). The problem is that doing that costs a lot of sun

With everything happening on screen the coins aren't a priority. There's too many to collect so they might end up letting a zombie through the defence
