I never thought I would ever consider living in a small home, but I would consider this one. I love this. It has everything a person might want. It is not spacious; it is small, but that would be ok. I love the front porch and the bench and swing on the porch. I like the fact that there is a nice shower and no bathtub.
Just Subbed! These homes are awesome! If we had some people who really wanted to help the Homeless issues we have. Think about how many plots of land sit unused, or have buildings just rotting away on them. Shopping Malls, strip malls, failed 4-8 business strips made for Doctor's offices, dental care centers, medical treatment or rehabilitation facilities, whatever. They sit empty. Doing nothing for nobody. Utilizing these places, turning them into small little subdivisions using these modular homes as the blueprints for the homes built here? Affordable prices, a place to call HOME! As well as making something out of nothing! This makes so much sense. I hope 🙏 somebody can make this happen.
I like the planned spot for the desk/computer which is missing in so many small home and tiny home plans. There is also a good amount of storage for the size of the home.
This is perfect for affordable senior living. I'd snap up one of these in a heartbeat.

How much do you think it would cost to build minus the land and plus the land.
@@ajl2232 the land value can vary greatly depending on location. I'd say the construction should be anywhere between $50k - $80k
It would be incredibly cruel to put elderly people into what are basically garden sheds.
@@danbowman9294 I guess we're all entitled to our opinions . . . but as a senior citizen . . . I find the convenience of every thing I need/want being in a small footprint very comfortable.

With such tiny houses the high ceiling is the best, thus the bedroom is upstairs and the living area blossoms, and it's only 10% adding to the price, or even less.

I love this. The only thing I'd change is I just want a little nook/alcove loft where to sleep. I don't know why but ive always wanted that. But great layout!
I live in such alcove tiny house and enjoy it greatly. The climate in my region is medium cold in winter❄⛄ and the gallery is the warmest place.

Perfect little starter home for newlyweds, DINKS, or retired couple. The sofa could be a futon for guests. One change I would make (and I used to 'build' these in Sketchup all the time) would be to put the porch at the rear of the house, with a windowed-doorway instead of a rear window for access.

I would also switch the bedroom and bathroom position so that all the plumbing would be along the same wall. There is already a washer/dryer combo in the kitchen. I would not have a dining room table and chairs. I also would not have a huge couch is the living room. I only need a recliner and maybe one other chair. I live alone without a lot of family so I don't expect any visitors.

How thick is the insulation and what is the heating system?
If I were doing this I'd be heating with a woodstove. Given it's size you could use a mini-split or a Monitor heater or even a propane fireplace.

Everyone comments "I would love to live in this cute house", but in reality it would be a nightmare. These are outbuildings, not homes. They are used as art studios, childrens playhouses, and guest houses, not full-time homes. And they are commissioned by the idle wealthy elite, not normal, working people.
