I recently bought the rotating version of this and it works perfectly for my desk setup.
For me, my work laptop is used as a secondary screen, so I'm not concerned with how it feels when typing on it.

For a Macbook or laptop with great cooling, this would be great.......but when you're laptop gets hot enough to cook a frozen pizza on it, a cooling pad is a better investment lol.
