Man City is just a yo-yo club now, so the debuild was successful. It should be mandatory for SI's devs to watch this series, because it perfectly shows some limitations of the game that they should have moved away from a long time ago. If the game didn't suffer from those limitations, Man City would have been over ten billion in the red when you got sacked. Brilliant series. I look forward to the next one.
Thank you! I suppose SI's devs probably didn't intend for the game to be played this way, but it has been a bit of an interesting case study into the inner workings of FM.
Good point! I know a lot of FM sims have Kompany going back to Man City, it just baffled me that he would leave Bayern, who have so much of a higher rep than City at that point in the game, to still go back to City.
it would and did you know that barca have only finished below 3rd 31 times since la liga started in 1928/29 and i assume that it would be similar for madrid
Oh that's super cool! Did he also play in the MLS too? I seem to remember his name as a player, but I'm not sure if I might be mixing him up with someone else from back in the day.
True! I know a lot of FM sims have Kompany going back to Man City too, I was just surprised to see him go back to City considering that Bayern would've likely had a much higher rep at that point in the save.

Great series, I really enjoyed it :)
Thank you!
Kompany has some history with getting teams hopelessly relegated from the Premier League. So pretty realistic prediction from FM!
Thank you!
Congratulations on a job well done!
Lol thank you!
Vincent kompany went to man city because he probably has it as his favourite club. Love your videos by the way

Well done, you should try this in spain, it might be interesting
Would definitely be an interesting challenge to do with either Barca or Real Madrid

One of their former managers, Jim Curtain, is an American and was the coach of the Union until this off-season!
I seen him in my fm save winning USA the world cup in 2026

@@FilipinoFM he played in MLS from 2001-2009 and then he was the coach of the Union from 2014-2024
Probably did not sell any players, because no other clubs would take on those wages.
Ah good point, there probably aren't many other clubs who would want to take on those massive wages lol
Maybe Kompany is their coach given his past at City
