Agreed, I personally find every Les Claypool project incredible
I think it the best interplay between the 3 instruments. Herb is fantastic bit Brain gets in there in between the other 2 and flavors those moments in Brainy goodness. No I don't have man crush on Brain, no I do not see a doctor for it.

One of those handful of albums where I can't just 'be in the mood' to listen to two or three tracks, without eventually having to play the whole damn thing. 😄

Glad that Antipop is finally getting some well-deserved love. It got way too much hate for way too long. I love the energy and variety that was on the album. I know that a lot of people find the "every song has a different guest producer" thing to be a bit of a gimmick, but I actually think that it brought a lot of life to the band during a time when they were seriously burned out. Plus, it might actually be their most metal album, which as a diehard metal head, I appreciate the extra muscle and heavier sound. Hopefully they'll continue adding more songs from Antipop on their setlists. It has been great to hear Herb take on Brain's drum parts. I'd love to see a live version of Sacred Cow or Liquid Sky.

Look on the Primus subreddit. Somewhere on there in a couple months old post is the complete show posted as a downloadable file. It's even better quality than these youtube posts
It was a torrent a while ago. I have it in high-quality. Maybe I’ll get around to reposting it one day.
I love to recognize Crimson, Zappa, Rush & ice cream on Primus.

Brain just seems to bring way more energy into the music.

I got my ticket for this, had a few buddy’s over and this thing would not air play to my tv, wouldn’t play when I opened a web browser on the tv, kept buffering... was only being able to watch it on my phone the gimmick? About 40 minutes after it started we finally got it going with my phone in the car huddled around it like a bunch of weirdos. Glad I can see for free now.

Did les get a new ct bass?
He built his own basses with one of his friends who is a luthier. They're called Pachyderm Bass's. www.pachydermbasses.com/index.php
He no longer uses CT. He retired them a few years back I believe. He uses a custom "Pachyderm" bass now.

Primus sucks!
As a die hard Primus fan whos listened to them since day one, I can proudly say that Antipop is one of their worst albums. :) I can listen to it but it just isn't Primus to me. They made it sound good here though.
Ya I mean I ge that. It's got maybe 5 songs I love and the rest I don't care much for. The rest of the albums I will gladly listen to front to back. But I dig like this song, sacred cow, liquid sky, laquer head and eclectic electric

Maybe there were playing live with no audience... So maybe it felt like another rehearsal session, except all dressed up and with the right lighting and sound mixing?
