DAAAAAAAMNNNN. This show was legendary.
Faith No More > Soundgarden > Voivod.
I remember watching the owner of the club, Frank Cariolla standing on stage and looking at the ceiling after Chris Cornell chipped away at it with the bottom of his mic stand. Giant chunks of black ceiling tiles and ( probably ) asbestos were all over the stage.

I was there he went nuts remember he stopped the show and told the bouncers to leave the stage divers alone ,then he smashed the shit out of the ceiling with the mic stand climbing on the lights ! Legendary show !!

I remember that Soundgarden set, Cornell smashing out the ceiling. I had chills. He was on fire that night. Unfortunately, I saw them several times after that, and he really mailed it in on many nights.

@@Mittsie yup this whole show was amazing . I was with my brother and sister and a shitload of our friends on that raised floor to the left of the stage fnm was amazing . But Cornel was on fire and was flawless!! And the crowd was going nuts stage diving like nuts he stopped the show cause the bouncers were trying to grab them . Then he fucked that ceiling up with the mic stand !!! Then hanging from the rafters! Best damn show!!!

I was front row the entire show. This was the alternative tour from hell. Had KFC with Soundgarden before the show. Fucking amazing.

Oh man I was at this show! That was a transformative night. I cannot believe this recording even exists, I found it totally by accident. I still have my shirt from this show too! All three bands were just amazing. They don't make them like this anymore. I keep wishing FNM would put out more music, though Sol Invictus wasn't my favorite (that changes, but usually its Album of the Year or Angel Dust, depending upon my mood).

I went there three times Freely's Comets, Skid Row, and White Lion were the shows I saw. We would take a train from Albany to GCS and jump on the LIR. My friends and I would get sick of the local scene and hit the City , We went to La'mour's often.

wow!! my band opened this show! don't think this is the entire show cause I distinctly remembered them opening with Underwater Love and Patton running onstage with a driver's mask! ha ha! great times!

Faith No More was the opening act... Soundgarden after them and VoiVod was headlining. There was another band on the bill that didn't play. I was there. Still have my ticket, mindblowing show.

Please tell me somebody has a copy of Soundgarden's performance of this show? I was there front row center getting moshed upon. One of my greatest shows I ever attended. Chris fucking up the ceiling needs to be seen!!! my son is a huge Cornell fan, and I tell him about this show always. And the bouncer came on told him to get off my stage . fuck off ...It was pouring rain that night. I had some hot chicks with me. We all got onto the bus we’re hanging out with Soundgarden after the show,
