"Lapland Travel Guides" -1001 Experience in Lapland is a UA-cam series, which presents in each episode one thing that can be done and experienced in Lapland.
In this episode, 10, Timo and Tanja will go to the accommodation facility in the municipality of Enontekiö called Arctic Land Lodging (Kilpisjärven Tunturimajat). The purpose of the episode is to experience cottage life in foothills of Saana fell and to explore the local Arctic Land Adventures - Vasara Reindeer Ranch . The reindeer herder Nils-Matti Vasara´s family has herd reindeer in the area for over 500 years.
This episode 10 is special, because it introduces also a construction site from the reindeer ranch. Nils-Matti and her wife Mia Aitalaakso are building a glass igloo village to the ranch and it was so awesome to take a look behind the scenes. The first igloos are supposed to be reservable on Christmas 2018.
