  • With money being tough, not everyone will have the necessary funds to buy a new tree stand or ground blind. With some thought, I decided I would make an inexpensive ground blind that I can use for Deer and Turkey hunting. The 4 poles that I have are $2.50 each and the Camo material $20. I just used some zip ties to connect the poles and fabric together. Took me less that 5 minutes to put it together and under 2 minutes to set it up outside.
The reason I like this blind is the amount of set up time. I know I can get out into my hunting spot early morning and put my blind up super fast with very little commotion. This blind is also very portable. I'll be able to bunjee cord the blind to my backpack to carry into the woods.

I did the same thing but there are some sturdier electric fence poles . A little heavily by half pound total. Works great for Turkey as well. I traditional bowhunt. Love the video.

They work. I made one last year and will use it again this year. I used similar post I got from Lowes and the canvas from Walmart. I have always hunted from the ground but hate a traditional ground blind. This is perfect.

String a thin rope along the top of your blind to secure the material with zip ties debit won't blow around so much. Other wise the blind looks good.

I know I'm late to the game on your video. Good video by the way. You could use a collapsible chair case to carry it in because it's tubular and it usually has a sling just a thought

Twist tie a straight stick across the tops of the poles n drape extra material back over to stabilize movement

No luck during deer season. But works for coyotes.

How did it go using this the past deer season and this current season? I’m thinking of doing something similar.

Great idea!!! Where did you get the camp material from? Almost deer season here and have a tree stand but also looking for ground blind options myself.

I got the material from sportsman’s warehouse. Pretty much any outdoors store will have that kind of material

Get a 15 or 20 foot piece of camo NETTING. You can see through it because your close to it but the deer can't from a distance. You're in the woods?? get a couple of sticks to support the net!! End of lesson!!!
