Modern cut suits are NOT for us big guys, as a bigger guys we want high rise pants/trousers so our shirts aren’t poking out from underneath our Jackets, darker and solid colors and we want suit jackets and blazers not fitted so tight to to the body, think 90’s cut suits either single breasted or double breasted that actually sort of harken back to 30’s and 40’s with wide peak or notched lapels. Also a big guy looks best in a suit Jacket when the Jacket is just a little bit longer, slims up the profile real good.
