- On seadays on a Carnival Cruise, you can have brunch at the main dining room. See what the Carnival Seaday Brunch food & menus are like, updated for 2022, as well as how some of the dishes tasted. Carnival has updated the way you reserve a table at the main dining room, so be sure to have the Carnival Hub ready.
Some of our favorites entrees were the Mediterranean Salad, Steak & Eggs, Signature Tower, Huevos Rancheros, Cantina Burger, and the funky Skillet Cake.
These were from our March 2022 cruise aboard the Carnival Vista cruise ship.

Wow! Another great video! Thank you for showing what is available. I would like to say that it is so nice to watch someone holding their flatware properly and eating with proper etiquette!!! I truly believe people are no longer taught these things when children.

@justinebostock2863 I was commenting on the proper way to hold both knife and fork. I was taught to hold cutlery and eat in the continental style.
Next time you are out eating, watch how people hold their cutlery and eat like toddlers. I take it you've never noticed this before.

Thank you for the post. I may have an early breakfast there and if allowed return for something light for lunch. I hope the Dream have similar selections in May.

Nice video. We just got off Odyssey of the Seas and they too have combined breakfast and lunch into one long brunch on sea days. We never seemed to be able to make it for breakfast in the MDR 😴 so we are happy that we can get there as late as 12:30 pm and still get breakfast. That fluffy pancake looked really good, Joanne’s honest reaction to the kimchi was 🤣.

You better believe they added sugar. I watched another video where a UA-cam creator made a funny comment about the orange juice just being sugar orange powder mixed with water.
11:50 The shrimp salad was probably made with Argentinian pink shrimp--they have the texture of lobster when cooked, not the same like other shrimps. 😎

Thank you so much! 😊 Yeah now you have to reserve a table via their Carnival Hub app, and the wait for the a table to be ready for brunch was longer than main dining room for sure, but not too bad.

You're very welcome- thanks for watching! Most of the mainstream cruise lines do have pretty good food, especially in the main dining room. Holland America, Princess, Celebrity & Royal tend to have better food at the buffet, but Carnival & NCL have some really good casual food as well.

What time does breakfast start on carnival breeze?
For the buffet and main dining it should start at around 7. Brunch might not start until noon, however, and is only on sea days.
I know my question doesn't have much to do with brunch, but have any of the cruise lines you've been on offer a really good prime rib at lunch, brunch or dinner? If so, which line had the best prime rib? I really love Prime rib. Thank you.
We haven't seen prime rib for lunch, though most cruise lines do have it at least once per cruise dinner. Some of the best ones we've had were on Holland America, Celebrity, Carnival, Royal & Princess.
What do the asterisks mean by some of the items?
It's a disclaimer that the particular dish may have undercooked protein. On the menu it says: Public Health Advisory- consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk for foodborne illness, specially if you have certain medical conditions.
Do you have a favorite cruise line, especially one where you prefer the dining options over other lines?
We pretty much like all the cruise lines actually. For dining, Holland America is probably the best overall among the mainstream cruise line's we tried, but we wouldn't say it's much better thank Royal, Celebrity, Princess, etc. For family fun, Royal (the big ships), Carnival, NCL (newer ships) are better.
What ship has fresh press juice on sea day?
Carnival should have it on all their ships but it costs extra, but if you have the drinks package it's included.
Do they give you everything on the menu because you are doing a review?
Nope- you can order multiple dishes as long as they can fit on the table. This was also over the course of 2 lunches, and there were still many we didn't try.
You can eat as much as you want. Some things cost extra
I use to love the sea day brunch but when I went on one in September it was horrible. Between the cost cutting and general poor quality of the food we avoided the MDR all together.

Hopefully you can get over hard eggs. Runny egg yolks ate just plain gross!
Well they aren't going to just slap runny eggs in every plate. You can tell them you don't want them that way. Most than likely they asked for their eggs that way.
Eggs are cooked to order. Preferences are subjective, you’re entitled to your opinion, but don’t think everyone thinks exactly like you.

oh, get out of here. someone could of put a snikers bar or twix bar with dribbles of more chocolate on it she would give it a 5 star rating. having women rating deserts is like having a dog rating cuts of meat. there isn't one yet they truly truly dislike, and for the women pretty much goes for any food
