Thanks Mate, can't wait to get it finished and then on the dyno to compare the NA to turbo numbers. Then we will start to add a little more at a time, intercooler, diff, axles, ECU etc.
From what I have been told, Knock sensor is best to have for safety though it is not critical for the car to run (many run without it) . That said, we will be wiring a knock sensor in either at or after the dyno day as I want to be safe. We may also put another ECU in that could have a few safety's that I will add? TBC. In short I have been told its best to have a Knock sensor, also without the Knock sensor, the turbo ecu may retard timing and therefore drop some power and no one wants that.
I can see me getting hooked on the boosted life. It's very low at the moment and well let's see where from here.. 😅 What's your tip for hp on the dyno?
Well done ,you've done a great job . Great content .🍻👌👍
Thanks heaps mate
Old mates eyebrows are hitting 15 pound boost 😂😂

@@DADZGARAGE Can't wait to see the results on the dyno mate, awesome!!
Nice work on the turbo install
all that power now😂
@colinstirling7133 shutututu, just like that shutututu..it's still pretty low power and psi. My tip from bum dyno is 240hp at wheels. What you think?
Look how happy you are when it kicked off 😁. This time next month you will want all of the psi’s
I keep saying I just want a stock VL type power and already been looking up upgrade parts. Lol 😂😂😂
@scottmcalinden1927 what's your number for hp on the dyno, as is, well with a exhaust fitted. ? I think 240hp using bum dyno..
@@DADZGARAGE hmmmm 228 is my guess but I hope it goes more.
Great video mate, how did you get the cometic exhaust manifold gasket to sit flush with out the little dowels hitting the block and head ?
Hi, did you have to swap the wiring loom out for the turbo loom to give you the knock sensor? Or is that not needed?

BTW, Thanks for the question as its one I think needs to be addressed in the next video I think, thanks again for this.
