- In today's video, I will be grilling Tajin chicken. But instead of prepping the chicken for the grill using oil, I'm going to be using mayonnaise as the binder and release agent. Watch this video to see the results!

Nice a bit different but nice, i grill all my chicken and especially Fish with Mayo and never had anything sticking. Keep them coming love your shows.
As I understand using mayo is also particularly good for chicken and fish. I will definitely continue using mayo vs oil for grilling

Of course! This first attempt using mayo turned out pretty well and I have been doing this ever since. I will definitely be doing a direct comparison some time.
I always enjoy your videos, Jerry! The mayonnaise approach looks like something I need to try. I really enjoy chicken thighs on the grill -- so they're a staple for weekends at our house. Going to investigate and see if I can't find some tajin at the local grocery store --- but it looks like this would work excellently with any favorite spice combo!
I don’t know the ratio of ingredients but it’s mostly salt, chili powder and dehydrated lime.
Not sure how you’d get dehydrated lime but if you used lime zest plus the other ingredients I think the taste could be somewhat replicated. Enjoy!

I am going to try mayo next time. Kinda works perfect if you are making grilled mexican corn as well
I made burgers this week using mayo. It sounds weird to grill with mayo but it really helped control the flare ups big time.
Hi Jerry and thanks for another great video! I know, your fellow Americans like to use olive oil for grilling: However, in my opinion it tends to burn and add some bitterness to the food, so I would highly recommend avoiding it and rather using vegetable oil or - like in your presentation: Mayo.
With this being said: I love your Dymo sticker on your bottle of olive oil ... 😁
