G'day some other good songs from HTH... (Nosebleed Section) is a must it's one of their earliest that hit big, (I Love It), (Won't Let You Down), (1955), (Still Standing), (Shredding the Ballon), (The Hard Road), (Fifty in Five), (Live & Let Go) and (Higher). - They have a lot of really good songs
Fifty in Five is soooo good. Cosby Sweater and Nosebleed Section were my 1st 2 songs. I can’t think of what my favorite song is by them, it’s hard to pick!
Those haters, no you don't faze us Cos you don't know shit so, you're on a need to know basis And those gracious folk with no status I made this flow for you, no your own name is Not a part of the bigger picture, listen it's the.. The tune is deliberately 80/90s ... hence ‘Cosby sweater’ Now is the time to admit that after a charity auction I own that blue New York hoodie in the clip .. lots of signatures 😂😂
I just recently had the privilege of seeing these guys live A MAY ZING! I have listened to these guys since 05 but live in Nz and had to wait for them to make a new album for them to tour NZ. Clown prince is an old as song Shredding the balloon I love it feat Sia 1955 Thanks for the great reaction.
The Hilltop Hoods may not have started the Australian Hip-hop scene but they brought it up to the main stream and set the bar for fellow Aussie Hip-hop Artists.... They are Legends in the genre yet the new generation can seem salty because the bar was set so high ... Unfortunate for many Australian artists its hard to break into Mainstream U.S charts... Great reaction and you should check out some more Hilltop they have plenty of bangers...
I looked up react videos for this song, and this is THE ONLY one where people are ACTUALLY reacting, as opposed to just hitting play and bopping along until the end. Nice work. Deserves way more views.
@@ESMRRevengers You guys should take a look at this version. So much better. Was a live version with a whole bunch of big name Aussie hiphop/rap artists doing it as a medley. ua-cam.com/video/UvAszEQlpTs/v-deo.html
Coogi, the brand of sweaters that Bill Cosby wore on the Cosby Show is an Australian clothing brand. Better songs from this artist would be either their first hit, and the first hip hop song from Australia, Nosebleed Section or another song called 1955. If you react to Nosebleed Section, the live video is better than the guy on the bike
If you want to see the guy in dreds rap and the big guy who was moving his shoulders in that clip, they do a collaboration with other MC's in Australia, kinda like australia's J5 They are great: ua-cam.com/video/alPNKJ3IXxM/v-deo.html
Radio friendly, Hilltop Hoods kings, the other rappers are Briggs who is a state senator, man with the dreads is another King from Funkoars . Briggs, Funkoars Hilltops all brilliant. ✌️❤️
the song refers to a US rap artist they admired , Biggy Smalls who always wore Cosby sweaters . It was written before Bills indiscretions came to light .
Great video 👍 if you want to check out more I’d recommend the golden era ciphers. And trials(dreads) is part of the funkoars, I’d check out clockwork purple. Enjoy
It's probably their most catchy song but their song with Sia "I loke it", "Nosebleed Section" or "Exit Sign" are great to listen to. The do a pretty deep song "50 in 5" which is basically summing up 50 years or history in 5 minutes
Hilltop Hoods are huge in the Aus music scene. I have grown up in Australia and the first ever hip-hop band I was introduced to was Hilltop. I even grew up rural and hilltop was known throughout my socials and peers, before social media ever became big. I remember seeing them live at 12 years old, before I even had broadband internet or a MySpace. Hilltop Hoods formed Aussie Hip Hop as we know it today, and paved the way for other bands I loved but didn't even know were not mainstream when I started listening to them - such as Butterfingers. If you can check out small town Aussie acts that made it big in the 2000s check out Butterfingers too, they're the bomb.
HTH is three members: DJ Debris; MC Pressure (1st); MC Suffa. The others in the video were their friends. Cosby sweater in the song is actually slang for vomit during a night out after drinking too much and getting vomit streaks on your clothes which makes it look like the cosby sweater.
Speaking in tongues is a great track, The art of the handshake was my first introduction to the hoods. They are awesome ..Thankyou for opening the door now jump in ...
It's a good jam, first guy made me think of Imagine Dragons. I can see Chilli Peppers vibes too. I just thought about it, are 'Cosby' sweaters still kosher? Is it ironic now bc sweaters are supposed are supposed to make you feel warm and safe? 🤔🤔🤔😝😂🤣😂😭😭😭 LOL
Coogi sweaters are Australian, thats the tie to Australia with Cosby as those were the sweaters he wore on the Cosby show. Doubt these guys knew anything about the roofies Cosby liked when they came out with this song in 2014

Funny that you mentioned Red Hot Chili Peppers because they do an awesome cover of Can't Stop.
Try “The Hard Road” by Hilltop Hoods.
The dude with the dreads is in another rap group called the funkoars if you want to hear him rap
Don't know why anyone listens to opinions from the nose.
I think you guys have to understand this song came out right before the Bill Cosby debacle so it really put a damper on the song!
Trials, the guy with the dreads is one of my favourite rappers
I highly recommend reviewing 'Chase That Feeling's or the live version of 'Rattling the keys to the kingdom', also by the Hilltop Hoods.
check out more of the hilltop hoods, some cool tunes
Linkin Park vibes. Seriously!?!?!? RHCP!?!?!?! Nowhere near it mate.
