- Like most other celebrity chefs, Giada De Laurentiis has a lot more going on than just her TV shows. The Italian-American Food Network star has an e-commerce website, Giadzy.com, multiple cookbooks, and, of course, her own restaurants. Since 2014, she has opened three eateries: two in Las Vegas, and one in Baltimore.
All three were lauded by critics and customers alike, but unforeseen circumstances led to the temporary closure of all three. One seems to have not survived at all. What exactly led Giada to shutter her businesses? This is the real reason why Giada De Laurentiis closed her restaurants.

In Vegas and it was OKAY.
We ate at Giada Las Vegas a few times . The dishes were forgettable. Not a place I recommend. There are so many excellent choices in Vegas, this is not one. My friends had the same reaction.
I give Giada's restaurant a 5. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious and the service is divine. We took over an hour to enjoy our brunch and we were not rushed in the least. It was a dining experience that I will never forget.

My sister and I were excited to sit Giada's restaurant at the Cromwell in Las Vegas. I remember ordering cheese stuffed peppers and fried artichokes. Both were salty and cold. Don't think that we stayed for dinner. We spoke to the floor manager. He was very gracious, but we weren't going to go back.
I know several people who ate at Giada in Vegas and said the food was terrible.
I watched her show, never ate at her places. Bet they were good though. Was fun to watch. Great video
Never ate at any of her restaurants but I've done SEVERAL of her recipes and ALL of them were GREAT!!! Her Cioppino recipe is actually one of my FAVORITES!!! Her Sundried tomatoes, spinach and Salmon dish is my girlfriend's favorite!!! 🤷🏽♂️
I hate celebrity chefs. This one was a freaking millionaire before she got into the food business.

There is an elderly Italian lady from the suburbs named Gina on UA-cam who can cook De Laurentiis under the table. She is also a more genuine person. Watch her videos.

@@timsanderson5572 Where do you get that from? I said nothing of the kind. My point was that there is an alternative to Giada De Laurentiis. In fact, Gina is the anti-De Laurentis. She can cook like nobody's business and seems like a genuine person instead of a manufactured celebrity.

Giada De Laurentis should open restaurants in New York City and in Florida ,maybe in Miami ,Florida
The food looks good as does Giada, but I have not had the opportunity to eat at one of her restaurants.

Las Vegas is a good market and as the city totally reopens there are plenty of tourists AND locals to keep her going.

Probably because in her shows she always talks about how her Grandfather was Italian and this inspired the recipes she cooks. On EVERY show! Also, she has the crazy eyes like AOC and Charles Manson. Just a straight up horror show.

During the pandemic, i boycott every restaurant that put that "masks" sign on the door. I only went to the restaurants that were mandate exempt. Now, those are the only restaurants still in business here. Moral of the story? Ignore mandates. Mandates are for slaves and prisoners.

its that stupid attitude that keeps these mandates going. seriously it wont kill you to wear a piece of cloth over your face for under 1 hour. if i can wear 1 at work all day and come home with it still on you most certainly can for less. stop being a wuss and just wear it and this will be all over sooner.
