Ribeye Steaks! Hot and Fast on the SNS Kettle!

- Cooked 2 nice ribeye steaks hot and fast on the Slow ’N Sear Kettle. Seasoned with PS Seasoning’s Black Gold!
Get your own Slow ‘N Sear Kettle: amzn.to/43Rbj34
• Cut 2 thinner steaks out of a whole choice rib roast, about ¾” to 1”. They had nice marbling for choice!
• Seasoned with PS Seasoning’s Black Gold.
• Set up the SNS Kettle for strictly hot and fast cooking.
• Placed them over the fire at full heat for 1 minute per side, 2 times each.
• Checked the temps once the searing was done and, surprisingly to me, the steaks were done and pulled them off.
Summary: As most of you will know, Ribeye is my go-to! These cooked faster than I expected but turned out perfect for medium rare! The PS Seasoning’s Black Gold was excellent for flavor!

What’s the point of spinning? Why not just flip?
This is called the cold grate technique and if you do not like grill marks, this method works great. I am not a fan of the grill marks and like the method for that reason. Cheers!
