YEAAAAAAH a new video, love you Josh! I'd love to know your process to know how to transcribe so well Buckethead, is it just by ear, or do you know what chords he plays so it's just a matter of figuring out the order of the notes?
Well, I listen to original recording and figure stuff out by ear. I'll only learn about one minute of these longer songs tho. Then based off of what I transcribed in the first minute of whatever song I'm playing I will know the key of the song. So then I know exactly what scales and patterns I am going to use. Then I just improvise and hope for the best! :)
Im just using one of the newer Line6 podgo effects pedalboards. It's really great for the price, and as u can hear you can get some pretty damn good lead tones!
