*When you hear the word “beautiful,” who is the first Filipina celebrity that comes to your mind?* 🤔 Hope you guys found this video interesting and insightful! 💜
@@columbaskupch2222 being part Spanish doesn't make someone not pure Filipino. Jose Rizal was part Spanish. Does that make him not Filipino? BBM is also part Spanish. He's not Filipino either?
Hmmm nagwonder tuloy ako? Hahhah! Ano kaya ako kung di ako Filipino? 😅 Sabagay, Carlos P Romulo once said, "Igorots are not Filipinos." 😅 Anyways we are really a mixed race naman but us siguro since we are so similar with the Austonesian origin that even some of our traditions and culture practices are quite similar with them. But since taga Pinas tayo edi ya we are Filipinos 👌
Yes if we say pilipina pure pilipina beauty without mix-up blood and residing in the Philippines ... For me only Nadine lustre she's a real pilipina ...
Nadine Lustre she's really beautiful like a barbie girl philipinean ...if you can review in Michael liva's Shaw's in modelling she walking like a living doll ...
For me, the prettiest filipina actress is Devon Seron. She's like BP's Jisoo with more melanin. Saw her once without make up and deym, she's stunning. Been to so many countries and seen many intl and local celebs, but she's defo one of the most beautiful humans I've ever seen. Ang sad lang kase she's not super famous compared to the aforementioned actresses, it seems.
Ako gumagamit ako ng kojic soap.. pero hindi para pumuti.. kundi para maging pantay lang ang kulay an to have smooth skin.. filipino skin tone is natural.. you cannot change it .. only enhanced.. kung puputi ka man.. babalik din eventually
As a Filipino-American, it's good to see more morena Filipina celebs get more appreciation and attention. This is a recent shift in perception, because just a few years ago the only Filipina beauty standard was to be mixed with Caucasian and not be a pure native. There are many who still think this way, because it's symptom of having a colonial mentality, which is engrained in many former colonized countries
For me it's their accent that triggers me. I feel like I would go on a rampage if I grew up with them. Like I would just pick to be more like alone than having them around like what the heck is wrong with our generations and all. HAHAHAHAHAHA 🤣 I'm sick of hearing conyo people exaggerating the way they speak the words.

Just one comment- no "pure" Filipino these days unless you talk about the Atis and tribes in Kalinga, the fishermen and farmers who have no foreign blood whatsoever. Having said that, you cannot really see what is inside a person. We may look foreign BUT we may be "pure" Pinoy. Geez, just look at Proud Pinay Pilita Corrales!!!
As a genZ, I appreciate both tanned and white. They represent both Filipinos. I think we put so much highlight with tanned skin nowadays. It has long been discussed in our generation now and I think, we are transitioning to tolerance and more acceptance sa Tanned. Tanned skin/white skin are both beautiful. Remember Filipinos are diverse; Short/Tall, high-bridged nose/flat nose, Tanned/white, narrowed-eyes/big eyes etc. We should not put label to characteristics as "Toxic, unnatural, the natural one, the relevant and irrelevant". We are composed of different genes and diversity is what makes us unique and beautiful. Morena/Moreno defines the majority of Filipinos, but white/fair skinned Filipinos do exist and they represent us well too.
Mga echosera!!!! Yung mga nag comment ng morena tanned skin color is very filipina pero sila yung lihim n gumagamit ng kojic soap! mgpakatotoo tyo not all pure filipino are brown skin ,, daming pure pinoy pero naturally white skin
To add to that, at first sasabihin nila na kesyo pure Filipina dahil Morena, and then in the end all pf a sudden they do understand that we were colonized by other nation that’s why there’s really not a pure pinay anymore. Pft. I’m not saying all of them, but most of them have said that. Aminin niyo kung sinong tunay na maganda! Not because you stan someone idi-Disregard niyo na ‘yung iba.

But Nadine claims to have Japanese blood. So she’s not a pure filipina.
