Mike you would definitely need to add the Dan Gurney bubble. He was 6’4”. Great video. Ty and I sat in one at pri several years back. Insane how low and tight the fit was. The one I saw didn’t have a roll bar either … I guess there was no room… 200mph with gas tanks on both sides, one by your hip…. Those guys were brave!
That's most definitely a cloth fiberglass body. What you're seeing is "backer filler" it's a layer of chopped strand mat that's typically added with a chopper gun over the top of the cloth(on the inside of the mold) You will often see it used to build up a layer that has multidirectional strength. This helps to keep the glass from cracking in corners and higher stress areas. If it were all chopped strand, it would weigh a TON.
The "bundle of snakes" exhaust actually refers to the formula engines that had the intake and exhaust reversed. The headers being in the valley looked like a "bundle of snakes".
@@purserclay39 they moved the oil cooler position, added a front Spoiler and remington designed a quick release brake disc. However I wouldn't call it a shelby car because of that personally

Nice job. I wish you mentioned whose it is and where etc. A little more history of the car. It's a great car. One of my favorites.
Very sexy car. The GT40 is one of my top 3 favorite Shelby's made
Its not a shelby, he just raced them
