- Here's how to undervolt your Laptop HX CPUs, like the i9 13900HX, i7 13700HX, i9 13980HX and it also works for the i9 13900HK.
The goal is to reduce the temperature and power consumption while increasing the performance at the same time! It works for every laptop vendor on the market, like Asus, MSI etc. but today we're using an Erazer Defender P40

7:06 Increasing Speed Shift EPP to max actually lowers your clock speeds. So basically if you set it to 0 then the CPU runs at higher clocks when idle. If you set it to 255 then the CPU tries to lower clocks at idle. You can try it and take a look at the clock speeds.

There's already man! I've tuned my 11850H, -75mv CPU core, -50mv CPU cache, and decrease the max all core boost to 4.2 GHz. My CPU runs at 60 °C in games. I've also disabled c states for more performance and stability because when you undervolt if the CPU goes too much down with the voltage you could have instability. Try out 😊

Any idea if you can undervolt 12900h?
With 11800h i7 there is more advenced stuff to doo to unlock there is a video you need to use command prompt but it is possible bro find a post on Redit How to unlock undervolting on 11800h . My was drop around 26 c°
Hi, I've disabled Core Isolation, Windows functionalities were already disabled by default, but I still have the options greyed out on FIVR. Any more advice?
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to tell that my BIOS is already up-to-date e virtualization is off there also.
Undervolt+OC is good for these unlocked processors.

I got the same computer as you and I encouter a small issue with the gpu : when I start the computer on battery, no problem. When I start on charge, no problem.
when I plug the computer when he is on, the gpu frequence freeze at 210mhz. The problem disappear when I unplug the charger.
To unlock the situation, I need to restart or to change a option in the Nvdia Panel.
Driver update OK, alimentation option OK, I have no idea where it comes from

On windows 11 on windows features there are no options to disable that you mentioned. Core isolation everything is disabled, any tips i can try without messing with bios ?

Non riesco a sbloccare la possibilità di fare undervolt nel mio Acer Predator helios neo 16 neanche seguendo i tuoi suggerimenti, anche da bios l’opzione è oscurata, a quanto pare Acer non permette in nessun modo l’uv, se mi sbaglio e piuttosto conosci un modo per farlo ti prego di farmi sapere, grazie in anticipo se potrai aiutarmi!
Andrebbe bios moddato, ma francamente non è una procedura semplice e c’è una discreta % di rischio. Ti conviene montare pad e pasta migliori ed accontentarti😅 Purtroppo. Però iscriverti al canale ridurrebbe le temps di almeno 2 gradi in media!
